Good location

In a generally good location for the city centre, lose to bars, restaurants and all amenities. It is fairly basic, but comfortable. For its location, the price is excellent value for money. The service from the company was very good and they arranged all our transfers efficiently, so we were very happy with our stay.

New Year in Funchal

We stayed in the Funchal City apartment (Rua dos Aranhas) for a week from New Years Eve onward. The location of the apartment is very good - central for the town, close to the La Vie shopping centre. There are two good restaurants on the same street as the apartment building (O Celeiro and Jazz House restaurant). Although we stayed in the apartment on the street side of the building (and at New Year) we didn't find the noise at night to be a problem. The apartment was very clean and tidy. The was a lift but we only used that twice (up and down with luggage!). We would recommend this property for anyone wanting to stay in Funchal Town.
