Only people who book can stay in the villa. No visitors. If we find more people you pay €60 per person per night and lose all the breakage deposit.

The pool was nice, the house was more dated than we could tell on the pictures and one of the bathrooms did not have a shower head that was attached to the wall which was frustrating.

Great location. Property could do with a bit of tlc, missing tiles in the pool, bathrooms xoukd do with some attention. No bags available for the recycling.

Angela If there was bags you must have asked us. Probably the helpers forgot to leave some. You had our WhatsApp and you can just send us a message and we can bring you the garbage bags. It's useless that you write here after your holiday is over because we can't help you. For the tiles it start falling out we know about it. But we can't empty the pool now at the peak season. Because we are full up with bookings. We are doing the pool in November.

Alles in allem gut. Sauberkeit und Reparaturen hätte für unser Geld besser sein können

Wir verbrachten 8 Nächte in Villa Ocean. Der Pool war das Highlight der Ferienwohnung. Dort haben wir auch die meiste Zeit verbracht. Das Haus selbst ist, wie auf den Bildern dargestellt. Leider mussten wir feststellen, dass das Haus und die Einrichtung schon etwas kaputt war. (Steckdosen, Pool-Lichter funktionierten nicht. Im Pool fehlen einige Fliesen.) Für den Mietpreis etwas zu teuer, für das, was wir dafür bekommen haben. Wir fanden auch zwei Unterhosen des Vormieters. Dennoch war es alles in allem ein guter Urlaub.

Nice Villa for 11persons

Nice Villa. A walk uphill to the supermarket took about 25 minutes. Shop before 12 and they deliver your groseries. 15 minutes walk to the sandbeach byt it was also possible to take a swim just nearby the Villa. Our family had a nice stay and it was perfect with the little pool for our youngest (2.5years).

Hi Tomas Thanks that you have stayed in one of our villas. To go to the supermarket you have to take the bus which is near the villa. The bus will stop near the supermarket.

We have stayed in Joes villa together with children and grandchildren in a very hot week in July. We have all enjoyed the lovely pool and the beautiful view from the house. It was a lovely house with a very good location - however, it should be noted in the description that there is a very steep hill up to the house. Nice with location in the immediate area and close to the bus (about 15 min walk) and the same to lovely sandy beach in the city. Nice equipment in the kitchen - however, the old refrigerator could require a replacement. We had contact with the owner, Joe, since the grill unfortunately was untrue. However, this was arranged so that a new barbecue came over 1 day. It was very hot when we were in Malta and the two umbrellas that were at the house were too little, as they were too crazy that it was hard to get shade. These should be replaced with some new ones. We also had contact with Josefine regarding some questions and here was a lot of help - even when we depart at. 04.30 at night had trouble with a taxi which unfortunately came a lot late. It should also be said that this was not ordered through the agent. Thank you very much for -Josefine Thank you for a lovely place for a holiday. I hope We Will come back to Malta again

Stunning view in a caolm place

My family and I were very satisfied with our stay in Joe´s villa!. We met Joe, and he is a very friendly guy:-) We have a summerhouse in Denmark and if something misses, the bureau contact us for imidiately to get the missing stuff. You could say that the refigerator which was standing in the kitchen, - did not work! we tried, but no!! Joe said, he wanted to put water in bottle and f.ex bread and milk ind the refrigarator, but the cleaners took everything!! It could be a very good idea especially when people arrive at night time:-) It is a lovely place and we all enjoyed it:-) especially you, Josephine, did a very "good work" and it is a pleasure to work holliday with you:-) we´ll do that again if possible:-)

Very beautiful bungalow with a perfect view.

Wonderful house with a beautiful view over the sea. A very nice pool area with a large pool. The property was very clean and the owner provide a very good service. Near by there are very fine restaurants and attractions. We recommend this property.

Summer fun and laughter in Malta 2009

This was the perfect property for our extended family. From booking with Josephine everything was dealt with very efficiently. The house was very clean and superbly situated 2 minutes from brilliant snorkelling beach but also with a wonderful pool deep enough for all ages whilst our 2 year old Grandson loved the little pool with its waterfall. The views are superb and outdoor eating was our forte overlooking the magnificent Mellieha Bay. Indeed it is our current screensaver! It could only be improved by adding air-conditioning . The layout of the house was ideal for our two families with bathrooms at either end and a large lounge to relax in out of the sun. The local restaurants were easy walking distance at the foot of the hill and very accomodating despite our large party size. Our only slight concern was the hire car provision - with a couple of missing seatbelts and rather careworn interior in the people carrier. However , as veteran Malta visitors we feel we have found the ideal villa - we will be back, Josephine.

just gorgeous

It was the best place we ever stayed in.The house itself was very spacious and very comfortable.We could see the beach from almost every room of the house. And we just loved the big pool, its water was very clean.As we spent a week in July it was rather hot to sit on the terrasse. It could use a little bit more umbrellas or something else to provide shade. Everything else worked perfectly and even when we had troubles with our car, Josephine helped us instantly( it was Sunday !) and the problem was solved the same day. All in all we were really surprised that the house even topped its description on the homepage.

Our opinion of Malta and Villa

Description of the property was very good. Kitchen, bathrooms and all the rooms were very clean and spacious. Kitchen was also well stocked with utensils. The swimming pool was excellant and the children thought it was great. The pool was also cleaned during the week we were there by the very friendly maintenance man. We also had contact with the owner's agent, who was also very friendly and helpful. We would recommend this villa to our friends, but it is not any good to anybody with a disablility as there is a steep driveway and steps to climb to get access which is not shown on the photos of the property. Also it would have been nice to have had a local map of the area to show us where the nearest supermarket, bus stops and restaurants were. We managed without a hired car as when we did find out where they were it was only a 10 minute walk to the little supermarket ,restaurants and bus stops, but maybe some people would prefer to hire a car to venture a bit further around the island, which is beautiful. The Oh Yeah boat trip to the Blue Lagoon is a must if only for the boat ride. Valleta is a lovely place to visit but unable to see it all in one day. The underground tunnels in Mellieha used during the war were very interesting and made you realise the price the islanders paid for helping us during the war for which we must be forever grateful. The islanders are very friendly and made us feel very welcome as the villa is situated amongst local residences. The local restaurants serve very good food and are very children friendly. Overall we all had a wonderful holiday and hope maybe to vist the island again.
