DVDs, board games and books. Beach chairs, umbrella, beach cart and boogie boards available. Corn hole set.. Hot and cold outdoor shower. Charcoal Park grill. Two picnic tables. Fully equipped kitchen . 1 King, 2 queens, 1 bunk bed, 1 single. Baby gate, high chair, pack n play, and toddler size chairs available for families with little ones. Dog bed, food/water bowls for families with fur babies. Iron, ironing board, hair dryer and flat iron available for anyone who wants to challenge the coastal heat and humidity.

Property was wonderful! We love the location and how spacious it is. Decor was very cozy, along with having lots of books, puzzles, and games for the family. Beach tent, chairs, & toys were also nice to have. Would stay again!

This was our second time staying here and it was lovely! The host is very responsive and accommodating. The house clean and very comfy. We brought our dogs and they loved having a fenced in yard to explore. And the beach (of course!). The pool is a welcome bonus for times when beach is too hot or the surf is too rough. We plan to be back next year.

We love Family Tradition! We especially liked the pool, which is in great condition and clean; the wide porch that wraps around the front and one side of the house; and the large, fenced-in backyard. Our dog enjoyed being free to roam.A pool and a fenced-in yard together make this house a valuable find!The only downside, which is not the fault of the house or the host, is that golf carts are not allowed on the paths or roadway of West Gulf Beach Drive, where the house is located.However, there is a short path to the beach, and in just a few minutes, you can have your toes in the ocean.The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked, and the living room is cozy and has plenty of seating. We also liked the palms and other plants in front of the house because they provide privacy for the porch. The driveway is neat, well maintained, and big enough to turn around in. Family Tradition feels like a well-loved home where lots of good memories have been made. I could feel myself relaxing as I walked in the door.The house is clean and well maintained. We will definitely consider staying there again.

Absolutely loved my stay at this house! The owner couldn’t have been any nicer and the house is very comfortable and big! The fenced in backyard was a huge plus! I could just open the door and let my dog out. I will definitely be looking at this house for future stays!

Finally, a perfect vacation with the family.

Everything was great! The kids loved the pool and my wife and I loved the ease of the stay with all the amenities and access to the beach. We hope to visit again next year!

Loved our stay and will be back very soon! The home was spotless and my pup loved the fenced in backyard. Very short walk to the beach. Laura was amazing to work with and even sent a text with all the info for check in so you don’t have to go to the Vrbo app to find it.

For a quick beach get away this was perfect. House had the adorable comfortable beach bungalow feel. A quick walk to the beach and a cute pool for relaxing at home. Owner is great and went above and beyond when we had rental car issues on the day we checked out!!

The Perfect Beach House!

The house was amazing and only a short walk to the beach. This was our first trip to St. George Island and we plan to make the island and this property our go-to spot for future vacations! Perfect Getaway

This house is perfect for a beach getaway! Very short walk to beach and short drive to the island center with restaurants and stores. The house was very clean and cozy, and well stocked with anything you might need. Our host was also very communicative and provided great details before the stay to help plan and pack.

Why they chose this property

My grandmother was one of a handful of full time residents on St. George Island when she purchased property in the 1950s. The first trips I made to the island were via ferry boat. Sometime following my grandmother's death, her house was sold.
In 1993 my mother purchased the house that I now own. My grandchildren are the fifth generation of our family to fall in love with St. George Island.
