About this property

The accommodation has been created from the only large environment in which an animal originally turned, usually a horse to transmit the movement through gears to the mill of the adjacent oil mill.

On the ground floor there is a large living room with a built-in kitchenette, a fireplace, a TV corner and a large dining table. Bathroom with shower and closet-laundry made from an ancient cistern for the collection of rainwater that were used by the mill for the pressing of olives. Upstairs large open gallery on the living room with double bed. Furniture predominantly antique. International TV and Internet wlan. Direct access to the private area equipped for outdoor dining.

Charming suite in Tuscany

Beautiful and secluded mountain top suite. We visited in early autmn and wanted to see the main areas of Lucca, Firenze, and the Cinque Terre. Great tips from our hosts on doing all. The pool and hot tub looked very inviting and private but we were too on the go to slow down and enjoy them. We would highly recommend!

Toller Aufenthalt in den Bergen

Die Unterkunft ist ruhig gelegen. Die Fahrt bergaufwärts ist jedes Mal ein kleines Highlight wenn man aus dem Flachland kommt. Das Apartment ist sehr sauber und hat alles was man braucht. Der Pool, Jacuzzi und Garten ist toll um den Tag zu verbringen. Gerade mit Kleinkind sehr praktisch. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war perfekt. Auf kurzem Weg konnte alles bezüglich Ankunft per Whatsapp geklärt werden. Bei Ankunft ist unsere Heckscheibe gerissen und er hat sich sehr lieb gekümmert und mit einer Werkstatt mehrfach telefoniert sodass das Problem am nächsten Tag gelöst war. Die An- und Abreise war flexibel möglich, was mit Kleinkind toll war. Vielen Dank für die Hilfsbereitschaft, Flexibilität und die erholsame Zeit.

A Great Renaissance Experience

Our vacations at this Villa were beyond expectations, so much that we're always planning to come back!!! This beautiful villa is breathtaking for its ancient construction and amazing views from the pool area. It was for us, the perfect opportunity to experience The Renaissance in Florence in full. Just less than 15 min driving from Lucca, 28 min from Pisa, and about 1 hr from Florence where you can enjoy the beauty of Ponte Vecchio, Piazzale Michelangelo, Basilica di Santa Croce di Firenze, Palazzo Vecchio and other beautiful attractions.
