About this property

Escape the city and enjoy the country living

A remodeled Portuguese house for you to enjoy the Madeira country living in the village of Loreto. The village of Loreto is a quiet village which is relaxing and you are in a local community
There are two houses next to each other, with a double and single room in each house.
The beautiful tradional "country house" houses have a spacious outdoor area so that meals can be enjoyed outside. The kitchen is fully equipped.
Up the traditional wooden stair to the rooms, you will find one double and one single.
On the upper floor is a terrace and a sun room to enjoy reading or just viewing the surroundings.


The houses are just off the regional road 222 which heads to the well known Rabacal area there are many beautiful walks. About 30 minutes up hill walk you will find the new Levada.
Near the houses are some local stores for you to buy any groceries you require.
The restaurant Naye is 2 minutes walking distance whereby they prepare you a delicious meal.
If you are up to the challenge, you can walk down to the Calheta beach which takes you 30 minutes to walk.

Wir hatten einen angnehmen Aufenthalt in diesem etwas in die Jahre gekommenen Haus. Die Lage des Hauses ist sehr gut. Man erreicht von dort schnell sowohl die Berge als auch einige Strände. Nicht gefallen hat uns das 2. Schlafzimmer im oberen Stock nach der Treppe, da dies kein eingenständiger Raum war. Die Küchenausstattung war für unsere Bedürfnisse etwas zu dürftig, deshalb sind wir häufig essen gegangen. Problematisch war die Warmwasserversorgung über einen Boiler, der entweder zu heißes oder nur kaltes Wasser bereitgestellt hat. Über die Mischbatterie konnte man dann zum heißen Wasser kein kaltes dazumischen, daher haben wir meist kalt geduscht.

Schöner Aufenthalt

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt im Haus. Wir waren mit allem zufrieden und hatten eine schöne Zeit auf Madeira.Die Lage ist eher ländlich und ruhig, aber man kann alles innerhalb von max. 50 Minuten auf der Insel erreichen.
