This luxurious villa, built on a very private 3/4 acre lot, sits well back from the road. Mature oak and palm trees line the driveway to this beautiful villa which is a mile from Manasota beach and five minutes drive to major stores and restaurants. Free wireless internet.

The large pool area offers complete privacy and overlooks a small pond and bird preserve. Palm trees to the rear add a special feature. At construction the upgrades throughout to create a luxury standard which is immediately noticeable with faux painted columns and other feature areas. The master and guest suites have king beds.

Location is perfect, super close to Manasota beach. Pool was a great temperature, warm but refreshing. Love the screened in patio, grill and layout of the house. Owner was very responsive. Also, comes with plenty of beach and fossil digging/sifting equipment.

The home is beautiful inside and out. Tropical, private, spacious, with plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. The master bedroom is grand! The home and location are 10/10. The large pool was a highlight of our vacation, and the beach is only about a mile away. The home was well stocked with beach chairs, sand toys, and a fully equipped kitchen. We truly enjoyed our stay.I deducted 3 points because I believe several important details should be disclosed in the listing BEFORE a guest finalizes their reservation.1-Daytime Maximum Occupancy (10 People)Under House Rules, the listing states “No parties or events,” but it does not disclose the host’s strict maximum daytime occupancy of 10 people. This restriction was provided AFTER the reservation was confirmed in a rental agreement sent through the Vrbo inbox. Many guests visiting this part of Florida have nearby family or friends who may stop by for a meal, coffee, or simply to visit, so this is important information to know before booking. It definitely affected our vacation experience.2- Jacuzzi Not OperableThe listing includes photos of the attached Jacuzzi/spa, so I believe most guests would reasonably assume it is operational. The fact that the Jacuzzi is not operable was disclosed AFTER booking in the rental agreement. In my opinion, the Pool & Spa section should clearly state “Spa/Jacuzzi not operable” so guests have this information before deciding to to rent.

It is always very satisfying to receive a 10/10 for the home and that the guests had a truly enjoyable stay. The rental agreement and terms and conditions were supplied to the guest within 24 hours of booking three month prior to arrival. Both clearly stated the jacuzzi was not operational and not advertised. Also the occupancy levels were stated in the same document. If any guest is not satisfied with the house rules cancellation is permitted with a full refund. Original booking was for the maximum 8 guests allowed but nearer the arrival date there was a request for equipment for a baby. Despite being over the max allowed an exception was made. The home is in a residential area and out of respect to neighbors it is not unusual that parties and overcrowding is not allowed.

The house was clean and had plenty of room for our group. The beds were comfortable.We made many trips to Manasota Beach and it was so nice that it was only 5 minutes away.We had a few days where the pool was not swimmable because the water was "green" but Gareth was very responsive and the problem was resolved quickly. The outside area is wonderful - plenty of places to sit and also "lounge".The kitchen was very well stocked (except it would have been nice to have a 12" or 14" frying pan). There are plenty of plates and silverware which was really nice!It was nice having a cooler, beach chairs and sifting tools available to us for going to the beach!We would definitely stay again!Thank you, Gareth, for sharing your home!

PROS:Pool was lovely, interior looked better than I was expecting from the photos. Good location central enough to a few cities and close to good beaches.Communication with Gareth was easy and straight forward. Never had to contact them for anything. Did not feel like any requests were intrusive/over the top CONSA/c locked to 72 or above. Floors *desperately* need a deep mop or something. White socks turn black within a few minutes of walking around on the tile. You are quested to wash certain things before departure, but house did not have detergent. No provided toiletries outside of TP. Would have been nice to know we’d need that prior to save us a trip into town All in all great experience dulled by some minor things. Would recommend regardless!

Glad you were happy with the property, pool and location. The tile floors are mopped with each guest changeover but I did ask the cleaner to pay extra attention to the heavy traffic areas. We do supply more than just toilet paper. Also supplied are hand soaps in all bathrooms and kitchen, dish washer tabs, trash bags, kitchen roll but not washer detergent. Only the beach towels are requested to be laundered

Very satisfied with our stay. There was a small issue with the pool turning green, but Gareth was very responsive and got it resolved in less than 24 hrs. This is your typical short term rental with not the highest quality beds or furnishings, but it was well stocked with everything we needed. The very short drive to the beach was a big plus.

We had a wonderful stay and loved the house. Gareth was so nice to check on us as the hurricane was approaching and thankfully passed us. We will definitely be staying here again as it is a perfect location and a great house.
