Located on the idyllic Punta Pozuelo peninsula in Guayama, PR, this exceptional oceanfront family vacation compound provides a unique setting able to accommodate up to16 guests, in six bedrooms with seven bathrooms. Amenities include fully air conditioned interior space, lighted swimming pool, ocean swimming, full size lighted basketball court, TV and multiple spacious lounging areas. Walk to your yacht moored in the lagoon across the street and dock or hoist it at the full service marina about a mile down the road when you leave. With your own equipment, water sports such as kayaking, wind and kite surfing, snorkeling, water skiing and jet skiing are within walking distance. Water sports rental equipment is also available at the boat ramp across the street. Enjoy local delicacies at nearby restaurants. All of your favorite stores, a movie theater and a Chi Chi Rodriguez designed golf course are minutes away in Guayama. A major shopping plaza, movie theaters, auto racing, casino, night life, gourmet restaurants in Ponce provide a variety of activities to suit every taste.
The cultural, entertainment and dining attractions of San Juan are only an hour away. And if you just want to kick back and relax, just climb into your favorite lounge chair on the wrap around deck to watch the pelicans and manatees go by. Punta Pozeulo is surrounded by beautiful scenery where laid back friendly locals take it real slow.

Great place for large family and kids

We stayed with 15 people and never felt crowded, even when we all shared breakfast on the red house balcony. We loved the location. Everyone in Guayama was super friendly. The houses were nice—everything worked. I misunderstood the listing to mean each bedroom has a private bathroom, but only one per house does. The pool was fantastic. The property manager was fantastic. Great place. Great stay.

A nice place for a large family or group

Nice place for a large family with a great pool. We had a great time in those houses. We couldn’t swim in front of the house but we made it up in the pool. A nice Restaurant next door but a little expensive but not way too much. Bottom line we had a great time

First, I feel bad about not leaving a great review because the owner and property manager were great and very responsive (clogged sink was fixed quickly). And, despite the negatives that follow, IT'S PROBABLY STILL A BARGAIN! But I have to say that the place needs a lot of maintenance and updating.Positives: Right on the water (though you can't swim right there), individual A/C controls, nice views, few bugs, nice little pool. Lots of space. It was generally clean.Negatives:First, there's signage that you can't flush toilet paper down the toilets. It's kinda gross, especially without a lidded can for poopy paper. It's also hard to remember, and hard to execute for big people (I am 6' 3").Second, notice that WiFi is not listed as an amenity. There is actually no WiFi. Third, the fence around the property does NOTHING to keep out the many stray dogs. I like dogs, but not feral dogs. One of our party was very afraid of dogs and needed to be escorted between the 2 houses. Stray dogs were the one downside to this neighborhood.Other negatives in no particular order: Kitchen cabinets need a lot of work. No beach chairs (not in amenities). No kayak, canoe, or water gear mentioned under amenities. No hot pads. Inoperable deadbolt (though neighborhood seemed very safe). Inoperable windows, and one broken. Rust & corrosion lots of places. An inoperable bidet. Stairs to beach overgrown. Dirty windows. No functional blinds and some bedroom curtains were almost transparent.
This was rough

An updated cooktop would be nice. Along with the broken corner, the controls were dodgy
It's hard to see in pictures, but cabinets in house 1 were somewhat beat up. Many handles were loose/missing screws.

Culture Missions PR 2022 Trip

We are a team that serves the community of Arroyo. Overall this location helped us relax after our day. We enjoyed the ocean view and sound. Local restaurant food was great! AC definitely helped cool us down in the hot weather. Pool was refreshing. The host was very responsive and communicated. We like that! Overall great place for a big group!

The host was great! She really explained how the houses worked and all the amenities.

The house was cleaned. The property needs to be updated. The beds on the yellow house were very hard. We enjoyed the pool a lot. The furniture in the rust house could use some updating, the Dutton was hard to sleep on. But overall it was a great property, private and the view of the beach was amazing.

Beautiful!

What an amazing place to stay! The views were incredible! We loved that there was plenty of outdoor furniture, including grills, for our group to use. And it was great having outdoor showers to rinse off after a walk on the beach. The beaches, both of which were a short walk away, were wonderful and we had them pretty much to ourselves. The pool was great. Caretaker Fran went out of her way to help us with the pharmacy when we had a small medical issue and were having problems with translating. The area was great, with everything you need is a short drive away. We would definitely stay there again!

Gorgeous ocean view for a no frills large family

The ocean view was truly breathtaking. The pool was clean and ideal! The two homes and grounds on this property need a lot of TLC. No curtains on large bedroom windows, some bathrooms not usable altho there are 7 on the property. Only 2 inside each house. Sheets are provided but threadbare. Inside of the houses is much much smaller and worn than the pics show. The beach is very rough with rocks. Only one tiny area to swim in which is accurately stated 10 min walk. Great for long walks on a beach with no people in sight. Very serene. You are in the middle of a rural area which is far from towns or shops, etc. Snorkeling or water sports is impossible unless you drive about an hour away. Still had fun with the fam.
