Luxury Wine Country Retreat

A short drive from Portland, in the heart of the Willamette Valley’s Eola-Amity Hills AVA, AtTheJoy is set within the Anahata Vineyard on a private 30-acre estate. Surrounded by vines and rolling hills, the property offers panoramic views west toward the Van Duzer Corridor and east toward Temperance Hill.

The outdoor spaces are designed for the enjoyment of registered overnight guests and include a patio, swimming pool, hot tub, fire pit, and multiple lounge areas. Guests can spend quiet days relaxing outdoors, taking in the vineyard setting, and enjoying the natural beauty of the Eola-Amity Hills.

The 6,500-square-foot residence consists of a main house with attached bungalows. The main house is bright and airy, with large windows and sliding doors that connect the interior spaces to the surrounding landscape. It includes a living room, family room, and a spacious great room that opens to a chef’s kitchen equipped with high-end appliances. An elegant dining area seats eight. The home is equipped with quality electronics suitable for relaxed indoor and outdoor use during your stay.

Sleeping accommodations include six well-appointed bedrooms. The main house features a primary suite with a king bed overlooking the Anahata Vineyard, a walk-in double closet, and a spa-inspired en-suite bathroom with dual vanities, shower, and soaking tub. Two additional queen bedrooms in the main house share a bathroom with a shower and tub.

Three 550-square-foot bungalow suites are located alongside the pool. Each bungalow includes a king bed, a sitting area separated by a floating wall, vaulted ceilings, French doors, a walk-in closet, and a private bathroom with shower. The bungalows offer peaceful views of the vineyard and pool area.

Additional sleeping options are available in the lower-level game room area, which includes a pull-out sofa with a double bed and a separate bedroom with two twin beds. These optional beds share a bathroom with shower. This level also includes a small meeting room with seating for six to eight, suitable for quiet work sessions during overnight stays.

AtTheJoy is offered on VRBO for private overnight lodging stays by registered guests. The property is designed for relaxed enjoyment in a peaceful vineyard setting. Uses that require additional attendees beyond registered guests, event-level planning, or specialized arrangements are not structured for booking through this platform.

Stunning property, location is ideal! Gorgeous views abound. Every detail is first class Pool and hot tub were perfection Easily accommodated our party of 12 Bungalows provided privacy and were surprisingly soundproof which helped with small children. Can’t wait to go back!

We were celebrating a 50th birthday in wine country, so the property was perfect as a central location to the wineries. The on site amenities provided a great space for couples to relax each day…enjoying the pool, hot tub, and pool table. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

Beautiful location, beautiful home!! We loved our time At the Joy for a friend's 50th. Close to many wineries, close to Portland, and most of all the amazing winery surrounding the home, the pool, the fire it, outdoor seating, the kitchen... it was all incredible! The bungalows are modern and a great addition to the home. The views from every room in the home of the vineyard and beyond are beautiful. Perfect stay. Thank you!!

Great place to get away and leave the world behind

At the Joy was perfect place to celebrate a birthday with close friends. The house had everything we needed to enjoy each others company and not worry about the outside world. There was a power outage while we were there due to a freak car accident down the street and the Tim and Kari were great at keeping us updated and helping out. Totally not there fault and without the accident, we never would have needed them, but great to know they are so responsive.

This house was a lucky find on VRBO. What a reprieve from city life we normally reside in. The home was modern, beautiful, and spacious. The kitchen is large and modern. We traveled with two families of four (four adults, four kids under the age of 7), and grandma. It was very comfortable, giving everyone a chance to duck into their own private rooms which were large and comfortable. The swimming pool was amazing and I believe salt water. Only one of my two kids is a swimmer, so I was nervous that there was no fence/gate around the pool - but we kept a close eye on all of the kids, and it made it especially easy being that there are so many windows facing the pool from the kitchen/living area. We were so thankful for this peace of mind. The beds, bedding and ambiance were amazing. So cozy and I usually have a hard time sleeping outside of my own bed at home. We thoroughly enjoyed this home. Thank you!

We could not have had a better stay. The Property Managers are A++ hosts. They were very fast with communication and very flexible with requests. The property itself is very beautiful. We would love to come back in the summer to stay when the vineyard is green!

Amazing - pictures don’t do the property justice

We loved being At The Joy - it is even better than the pictures. It’s an amazing property with indoor and outdoor beauty that is very well stocked for large families. The bedrooms and bathrooms were updated and extremely comfortable and spread out - the pool villas are particularly great. The outdoor space is a highlight with pool and hot tub and incredible views and privacy. We loved the team at the property and found them so easy to work with. We would go back in a heart beat!

Great wedding weekend retreat

My (now) husband and I got married at a nearby vineyard this Summer and were looking for a nearby property where we could reside and relax with both our immediate families during the celebratory weekend. While it was certainly a bit of a "splurge" cost wise, the property was absolutely perfect for the occasion and we wouldn't have done it any other way.

Amazing wine country retreat!!

This property is amazing. We had a group of 12 and we couldn’t have enjoyed it more. Everything was perfect. The pool was heated, the kitchen was well appointed, and there was plenty of room for our group. We actually had a chef come to the house to prepare a six course meal and we ate out on the back patio. The whole experience was amazing and the views around the property was just as good. I highly recommend this property for big groups visiting the Willamette Valley.

This home is really fantastic, within a 5 minute drive to many world class Oregon wine producers Bethel Heights, Zenith Vineyards, Cristom, Walter Scott, Brooks and St. Innocent to name a few. You couldn't ask for a more well appointed and comfortable place to stay for a large group. Great kitchen to cook in because there aren't any really close restaurants. Both the pool and jacuzzi were heated for our November weekend and thoroughly enjoyed. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
