Rent at the week weekend, a beautiful sunny apartment of standing in the intramural, F3 on the 1st floor of a small building of the XVIII century in the heart of the historic center: 50m from the Palais des Papes, Bridge of Avignon, 100 m from the place of the clock and the most picturesque neighborhoods.
6 people maximum.
The apartment will seduce you with its comfort and decoration, it was completely renovated and refurbished in 2013/14, it has all the required equipment.
65m2: entrance closet, fully equipped kitchenette: refrigerator, freezer, microwave, induction hob, dishwasher, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine, a spacious living room very sunny TV, bedroom with new bed 160/200, 2 bathrooms water with 2 toilets, washing machine, a second bedroom with BZ nine, 140/190 bed on the mezzanine (new bedding)

The car is not necessary, however, you have the car park of the Palace of the Popes paying 50 meters, where 6 mins walk free guarded parking aisles of The Oulle.

Modern, secure, apartment located in the old town close to all the action.

The apartment is in an excellent location with easy access to the old section of Avignon. The sitting, dining room feels spacious with its high ceilings. The kitchen is tight but has everything you need. The main bedroom and bathroom are comfortable. The second bedroom is a loft with a very low ceiling and awkward access. Free parking is some distance away but works out fine if you are going to just park and leave the car for a few days. Overall, a good experience. We would stay there again.

Par contre nous n avions pas été prévenu de l absence de parking privé près de notre logement il a fallu nous débrouiller pour se garer sur un parking gratuit en dehors de la ville et avec les bagages cà été un peu la galère en arrivant et en repartant nous qui sommes de la campagne nous n avons pas l habitude de ça

No es una buena opción para los meses de calor

El apartamento está bien, pero es una mala opción para los días calurosos del verano porque no tiene aire acondicionado y no puedes abrir las ventanas para que corra el aire por la noche porque ¡entran los mosquitos y te comen! La cámara vigila bebés de nuestro hijo marcaba que la habitación en la que dormía estaba a 29 grados... era imposible conciliar el sueño. Las habitaciones y la cocina no son muy amplios, pero sí el salón. Las camas son cómodas. Angelique y su marido son agradables y atendieron nuestra petición de traer al apartamento más ventiladores para hacer nuestra estancia más soportable. Nos pusieron una cuna para el bebé con un colchón muy cómodo. La cocina está bien equipada en cuanto a electrodomésticos y utensilios para cocinar, pero estaría bien dejar bolsas de basura y papel de cocina, por ejemplo. Un detalle que no nos gustó mucho es que las camas no estaban hechas a nuestra llegada y que no había más que 2 toallas de baño aunque éramos 4 huéspedes (2 niños y 2 adultos). En cuanto a la limpieza, a simple vista estaba todo muy aseado, excepto el suelo, que debía de llevar varias semanas sin ser fregado porque las piernas de nuestro bebé estaban negras después de 5 minutos gateando... así que tuvimos que limpiarlo la noche de nuestra llegada. La ubicación del apartamento es muy buena, en todo el centro de Aviñon y con un parking de pago muy cerquita (2 minutos a pie). El edifico está rodeado de tiendas de souvenirs que perfuman el piso con aroma de lavanda nada más abrir las ventanas. En definitiva, si instalaran aire acondicionado y mosquiteras en el apartamento, y cuidaran algunos detalles, sería una buena opción para alojarse en Aviñón en verano, pero yo no repetiría, al menos en esta época del año.

Very conveniently located and was exactly as expected from photos. The owners are very agreeable.

Definitely in the historic center of Avignon - all sights and amenities are within walking distance. It was enjoyable coming “home” every day. We had everything we needed in the apartment. Once we figured out parking, it was a breeze. Very comfortable, charming and just what two couples needed. Prepared a few delicious meals ourselves!

Great location, great hosts

This charming apartment is conveniently located near to shops and wonderful restaurants. My husband and I found it a great base for exploring Provance. The apartment was as shown in the photos, clean, well-maintained, well-appointed with new appliances. The owners were pleasant, helpful, and presented us with an unexpected basket of cherries from their garden upon departure. We would stay here again!

Great Location

The stay had a rocky start as (1) Angelique did not provide the full address (luckily I had printed a map with the location so the taxi driver knew where to go), and (2) there was no one there to meet us when we arrived. Angelique's husband finally showed up. He took us up to the apartment but was not very helpful when we asked basic questions such as "where is the closest grocery store, or nearby restaurants?". He told us to go to Halles which is a market (usually closes by about 2pm) that does not have grocery type items such as paper towels, soap, etc. We found Carrefour City at 23 Rue de la Republique for all of our grocery needs. The only restaurant he could recommend was La Mirande which I'm sure is great as it should be for the price. We did not eat there. Instead we found two outstanding restaurants in our neighborhood: for brunch and tea, and exceptional food with large portions go to Simple Simon at 26 Rue de la Petite Fusterie; for dinner try Kote Kour on Rue de Mazan just off Rue Joseph Vernet. The apartment lay-out is a bit weird as is mentioned in other reviews as the one bedroom off the living room has a very narrow staircase to a loft bed, or you can pull out a futon on the main level. You then have to walk through the living room to get to the bathroom. The on-suite bathroom has a walk-in shower with a hand-held fixture which is a bit difficult to juggle. The kitchen was well-appointed although we did not cook during our two week stay. The location is great and is easily within walking distance of the major attractions. On our day of departure Angelique's husband did arrange for a taxi to take us to the TGV train station. Angelique showed up 1/2 hour early to check us out. We had to clean the apartment ourselves or pay 80 euro to have it cleaned. We opted to do it ourselves. We were frustrated when trying to communicate with Angelique as to if we could wait in the apartment until our taxi arrived, or if she wanted us to leave and she would lock up. She does not speak English although she seemed very pleasant. The take-away is that if you are only English speaking do not expect to get much help from the owner. Despite the initial check-in and communication problems, we had a great time in Avignon and really did enjoy the location of the apartment.

Convenient, Great Location, Loved it.

Well done apartment. Just a few hundred feet from the main square, convenient to the historic sites and free parking area. The owners was very friendly. the apartment was well kept, nicely done and in a quiet yet convenient location. We absolutely loved our stay here and recommend it to anyone.

We are a retired couple in our mid-60's. We stayed in the apartment for six weeks. The location is extraordinary. The couple who rented it to us were very nice and helpful. with it being so close to the center of everything, you can't go wrong...

simply wonderful appt

The appt is well equipped, cozy, wonderfully furnished and very spacious. Ideal for a couple with or without kids. Located at the Very historical centre heart and within a few steps from the Popes Palace and Gardens. We has a terrific stay and enjoyed the appt watching good movies along dinner at the living room. The owner is very hospitable, helpful and ready to make your experience truly unique. A well-deserved 5*****

Perfect for Couple or Small Family

We stayed at this apartment for three nights in June 2014. Its best feature is its location which is fantastic -- right around the corner from the Palais des Papes, and convenient to great restaurants and shopping. There is one small bedroom with en suite bath and a second bedroom with a bed and futon on two levels. The second bathroom is off the hall. We stayed with another couple, which was slightly inconvenient because the second couple needed to walk across the living room to get to the hall bath. This apartment would be ideal for a small family -- the parents would have the private bedroom and the kids could stay in the bedroom with loft bed and futon. The apartment was missing a couple of minor items (trash bins in bathrooms, trash bags, coffee filters, etc.) but we mentioned this to the owner and she will supply. The owner, Angelique, was delightful and very accommodating. All in all, a great option for Avignon.

Das hat Klasse!

Dieses Appartement ist ein wahres Schmuckstück im Herzen von Avignon! 1 Minute zum Papstpalast, 3 Minuten zur Pont d'Avignon und 5 Minuten zu Geschäften, Cafés und Restaurants. Es befindet sich also in Laufnähe zu allem Interessanten und doch ist es ruhig und bürgerlich gelegen. Die Einrichtung entspricht voll und ganz den Fotos und ich würde sie als "Landhausstil" bezeichnen. In der Küche findet man alles, was man für seinen Frankreichurlaub braucht (klassische Kaffeemaschine, Nespressomaschine, Spülmaschine, Weingläser und alle nötigen Utensilien zum Kochen). Wir haben dort zu zweit gewohnt, so hatte jede ihr eigenes Schlafzimmer und Badezimmer. Beide waren getrennt durch das große Wohnzimmer mit sehr hohen Decken. Für die Sportiven ist die Lage perfekt, da man in 5 Minuten auf der Insel Île de la Barthelasse ist, wo man durch wunderschöne Apfel- und Kirschplantagen läuft. Die Insel lädt außerdem zu einem ruhigen Picknick direkt an der Rhône ein. Jenen, die gerne mit frischen Zutaten kochen, empfehle ich "Les Halles", die Markthallen, am Place Pie, die in 15 Minuten zu erreichen sind und das Herz aller Feinschmecker höher schlagen lässt. Hier findet sich alles vom selbst gebackenen Brot über frische Pasta, Fisch und Fleisch hin zu frischem Gemüse und Obst aus der Region. Der Kontakt mit dem Besitzerehepaar vor, während und am Ende unseres Aufenthaltes war sehr sympathisch und vertraut. Beide haben alles getan, damit wir uns in ihrem Appartement wohlfühlen. Wir wurden sogar vom Bahnhof abgeholt und wieder hingebracht. Ich kann diese Wohnung also rund um und zu 100% weiter empfehlen. Ich ziehe einen Stern ab, weil man bei offenem Fenster die Touristengruppen unten auf der Straße hört, die regelmäßig vorbei strömen, da dort die Souvenir Läden sind. Allerdings ist das nicht schlimm, irgendwann hat man sich daran gewöhnt und bei geschlossenem Fenster sind sie nicht zu hören. Absolut zu empfehlen!
