Amazing!!

We had an amazing stay here! Everything was clean and Ian and Yvette were great communicating with us throughout our stay! The kids loved the pool and the beach is only a short walk away! We will definatley be back! Thanks again so much!

Fabulous stay at Casa Tranquila

Very well equipped, clean and well located property with an amazing pool! We loved our stay here and were very comfortable. One of the top villas we’ve rented in any place we’ve travelled. Would love to come back!

Family holiday

We had a wonderful stay here - the villa was fantastic in every way. It was extremely well equipped and beautifully presented and everything we needed was provided. The location is fantastic- perfect for a family with two teenagers as we had the peace and tranquillity of the villa and marvellous pool (which we used every day) and some fantastic walks straight from the villa but also restaurants and bars a short walk away whenever we wanted. It truly was a memorable holiday!

Excellent property in Carvoeiro. 5 minutes walk into town. Just like a home from home as the owners have thought of everything and more. I would highly recommend booking. 5 stars all the way!

Perfect holiday

I have just returned from a week holiday in Casa Tranquila, Carvoeiro, Portugal with my husband and 10 year old daughter. From the moment I booked this propert, the villa owners, Yvette and Ian could not have been more helpful, providing comprehensive information about the property, as well as fabulous recommendations for things to do and where to eat and drink, even driving regulations and detailed directions from the airport. Accommodating our request for an early check in and late check out due to the times of our flights was such a bonus - giving us a few additional precious hours of our holiday. The property itself is modern and immaculate, and includes everything you could possibly hope for in a self catering holiday. The pool (which we spent many hours in) is immaculate and the mid week maid service and pool maintenance was a bonus. We absolutely loved both Carveiro and the villa itself and were so sad to leave. Without doubt we will return - preferably as soon as possible!

Amazing villa

WOW where do I start? What an amazing villa, We have stayed in many villas in different countries, from our children being young, its what we prefer. But this one I can hand on heart say has been the best. From the comfiest of beds, amazing bathrooms with showers you're not chasing the water to wash yourself. A well stocked kitchen of all gadgets if you want to cook, to a beautiful living room with lovely furniture. Then you go outside to so many different areas to sit, to the sun lovers having comfy beds to lie on (that's me) So many shaded options to stay out of the sun, then a brilliant pool and gardens to walk around and all this is spotlessly clean, the cleaning ladies were very helpful if we had any questions. Then last but not least, the views to die for. Carvoerio centre has many restaurants from a café for coffee and cake to a lunch time snack or an evening meal, you will certainly find something you will like. I would recommend the Fish in most of them. We really do want to return, when we have our dates for next year's holidays.

Great break

This was a great base for our holiday in the Algarve. After 3 years of not travelling abroad due to Covid it was definitely worth the wait. The villa is located just a short walk from Carvoeiro town centre. There is a large supermarket 2KM in the other direction as well as a few smaller food shops in the town. The villa was very clean and had everything we needed. Our two girls basically spent the week in the pool and we enjoyed lounging around the pool and getting in for an occasional cool down! The beds were comfy and bathrooms spacious. I would definitely recommend staying here. Most evenings we went to the local restaurants in town but we took a few trips out to other towns also. We enjoyed Ferragudo and we also visited Silves to go to the Medieval festival which was on for 10 days in August. We used Uber taxis to get around which worked well. There are plenty of good restaurants in Carvoeiro as well as lots of shops and a busy but beautiful beach. Some evenings there is entertainment in the town square and there is a frequent road train that takes people on a tour of Carvoeiro and the surroundings. The owners of the villa were very helpful and gave us many recommendations and also answered any questioned we had. Thank you for letting us stay - we definitely didn't want to leave!

Fabuleux séjour

La villa Tranquila est juste magnifique avec tous les équipements nécessaires. Très bon emplacement dans un quartier calme, proche des commodités, quelques minutes à pieds du centre-ville avec ses restaurants et de la plage. We are newly retired to Carvoeiro with 4 beautiful young grandchildren. We had our villa built - far from an easy build, but the expressions of love for our home blow us away and make everything worth it. We are both very honest and caring people. We love the area of Carvoeiro and see time after time how so many fall in love with this very safe, beautiful and friendly place.

Why they chose this property

You will not find another property in contemporary style like Casa Tranquila. Amazing insulation mean it is also a good place outside warmer months. Despite the area being very hilly our villa is close to the foot of the roads leading in and out of the village and beach. Equally, by virtue of the property being built high in the plot the views in our opinion are pretty special. Once up the first flight of stairs - wide enough for 2 people side by side - the property is all on the level with no steps onto the pool/terraces. Walking around the garden it is overall gently slopping with two steps to one area and a couple of rock steps on the opposite side. Take a look at our tripadvisor reviews and read what previous guests have to say - not our words, but those totally independent.

What makes this property unique

The villa itself is wonderful, splitting social area/kitchen area from bedroom suites, yet all on one level. The open plan indoor SOCIAL area is about 105 meters square/1100 sq feet., plus bedrooms etc.The outside is architecturally stunning and gives you some ideas as to the delights awaiting inside. Its location is ideal. The nearest restaurant a couple of minutes walk, 10 minute walk to beach, passing many other restaurants, bars and shops. Safe environment. Car not necessary.
