The private entry path to your apartment is filled with greenery. You’ll enjoy lots of time in the private patio with a teak table and market umbrella. This is a peaceful spot to enjoy morning coffee and read the local news. It’s quiet here except for the sounds of birds and the waves breaking in the Pacific Ocean. Yes, you’re that close to the ocean! And, you’ll appreciate the rock wall outdoor shower after a day at the beach!

The living room has a comfy sofa. Yes, there’s Direct TV and, of course, encrypted WiFi!! The open kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook an easy dinner or blend a margarita.

Great location in Del Mar. Very close to the beach and within reasonable walking distance to the central business district. Apartment is clean and comfortable. Kitchenette has the basics for simple food prep. Mimi is a very friendly and accommodating host. WiFi connection generally good. Overall, very much enjoyed our stay and would stay here again on a future visit.

Charming getaway cottage

From start to finish a very nice experience . Clean , charming and well equipped for a perfect stay. Very cozy and comfortable, very private complete with access to washer and dryer. I would stay again and recommend it to anyone.

Charm plus!

Lovely space, tastefully decorated in a soft blue/gray beach motif and located an easy half hour to San Diego to the south and Carlsbad to the north. Easy access to the beach, shops, and restaurants. Unit is below a home occupied by the very gracious host and requires ability to navigate 14 steps.

Great little apartment close to the beach. Immaculately clean!!! Private patio had different furniture than what was pictured- not very comfortable for relaxing- would have been nice to have comfy chairs to enjoy the beautiful weather. Great location! Would stay there again.

Just what I wanted

Cozy, clean, and quiet. The location is perfect, just a few houses up from an ocean overlook and with an easy walk to downtown Del Mar and beach accesses. Mimi was very helpful and responded to questions quickly. Definitely would stay again.

Clean and mostly as advertised ...a little further form the beach and access as stated , and I originally saw the listing at Travelocity , or one of the sites and it would not allow me to book through that site , Mimi redirected to Vrbo and it worked out fine , she is lovely and available . A good value

Perfect Del Mar Location

This is the perfect location for anything you may want to do in the Del Mar area. Wonderful restaurants and coffee shops are just a walk away. As are any kind of beach activity you may enjoy. The fair grounds is just a short drive. Enjoy!

Great Location!

We had a great stay. The location is perfect. Easy to walk to the beach, restaurants, coffee shops, pastry shop, ice cream, etc. It was on the smaller size, good for two people for a short trip, but comfortable and clean. Was also confusing where to go when we first checked in. But other than that it was a great stay and the perfect location for a getaway.

Excellent visit to Delmar.

Delmar is one of my favorite places in California. And Mimi’s place was the ideal spot. So close to the ocean! Clean comfortable, well equipped. Mimi is an excellent host. I’ll be returning to this spot for sure!

Absolute Heaven!

My mom and I just wrapped our trip at Mimi’s home, and we are still floating from the most amazing stay. Perfect Del Mar Getaway

This is a lovely one bedroom apartment with comfy furnishings including a king size bed in one of Del Mar’s traditional seaside homes. The location is fabulous and Mimi is a gracious and friendly host. Only caution is that the apartment is accessed down a flight of step stairs. We’re definitely going back next year!

Cute apartment right on the beach!

My dad stayed here while visiting me and it was perfect! The location is half a block to the cliffs over looking the ocean and close to cafes, shops etc. Unfortunately it was a very cold week while he was here but we still made use of the patio which was very cute and surrounded by plants! The apartment was clean and had everything we needed.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place and Mimi! I have rented many places through VRBO, and this has been my favorite. It was super clean, the location is amazing, and it is exactly as advertised. Mimi was incredibly responsive to messages and the minor instructions were very clear (no 15 page “instructions binder” for this place!). I hope to be able to come back!!!

Ideal for Relaxation

Started our search many months ago but quickly landed on Mimi’s comfortable beach house. We have stayed in the same area in prior years so knew we loved the neighborhood. The space is charming and having a kitchen and living room to spread out in was so nice. Whenever we had questions or needed something, Mimi responded quickly and provided what we needed. We look forward to returning in future years.
