The cottage is situated at the end of a cul-de-sac and is very peaceful, surrounded by mature gardens. It is cosy and comfortable, decorated in a contemporary style with many pictures and aerial photographs of the surrounding area. (Commissioned by Aye in the sky)
The cottage has electric central heating, satellite TV/DVD, I-Pod speaker dock and free Wifi. The living room with electric stove and 50 inch 4K SMART television overlooks a front garden with large picnic table and a separate dining room comfortably seats 6 people.
The modern kitchen with tiled floor is fully equipped with large fridge /freezer, ideal for self -catering.
The modern bathroom has a bath and electric shower.
The cosy double bedroom and twin bedroom, both with built in wardrobes and wall and full length mirrors, overlook the rear garden, hot tub and B.B.Q. There is also a pretty single bedroom which overlooks the side garden. A folding Jay - Be bed can be provided for a sixth guest, though best suited for a small person or child.
The fairly large garden is a particularly attractive feature of the property, with lots of heathers, conifers, perennials and silver birch trees surrounding the home on 3 sides.
Lovely private grass area to the front of the property with flower borders and large , solid picnic table, that can seat 8, great for outdoor eating.
There is off road parking for 2 vehicles.
The real attraction of Silver Trees is the 6 person hot tub which sits in a completely private area in the back garden. Can be used day and evening as the tub itself is lit and the surrounding area has solar lights, downlighters and spotlight. Lie in the hot tub and look up at a starry sky or up into the graceful branches of the Silver Birches.
Silver Trees offers a beautiful landscaped garden on 3 sides of the property and complete privacy. Ideal for couples, families , children and the family pet.

We had a fantastic stay at Dave & Ella’s house. The property was immaculately clean, well stocked with all manner of provisions, placed beautifully within Aviemore for access to everythingPrior to arrival, the hosts made adjustments at my request to support my elderly mother with dementia, which was greatly appreciated.Hot tub was clean, brilliant for the kids and adults alike and maintained during our stay.

Week in the Cairngorms

We had a very pleasant stay at Silver Trees. It proved to be a perfect starting point to discover the surroundings and have great hikes, go to the Highland Wildlife park or going on the steamtrain.

Exceptional accommodation in a beautiful location.

The accommodation exceeded our expectations in many ways. It was a home from home, we had everything we needed and more. I would love to say that the host tended to our every need, however she didn't need to as she had everything prepared for our arrival and we had a faultless relaxing week. The property is comfortable and adequate for four adults although the bathroom and corridor space is quite limited. The garden is very pleasant although the grass could have done with cutting. The location was good and the locale was generally quite quiet.

I am a retired school teacher and I live with my husband in Drymen, near Loch Lomond. We both love the Aviemore area for its amazing scenery and its skiing.
We have spent many family holidays at Silver Trees with our 2 sons.

Silver Trees appealed to us because the house lies at the end of a quiet road and is surrounded by garden.
It has a golf course nearby.
Local bus passes at the end of the street.
Small shopping complex just 5 minutes walk.
Lots of lovely walks nearby.
Small development of shops - fish and chip shop, pizzeria, co-op, bike hire - just 5 minutes walk.
Also just a few minutes walk from coffee shop in Highland Home Centre and small Brewery with guide tours.

Silver Trees offers a relaxing holiday environment in a very quiet location. The house is very suitable for families as it has a lovely garden where children can run around safely.
Gas BBQ for outdoor eating. New 6 person hot tub now installed.
2 picnic tables in two lovely picnic areas.
The house is spacious inside with a separate dining area that caters for 6.
Lovely and cosy in the winter.
