Luxury Scandi Cabin On A Hill, With Stunning Views Across Cornwall >NEAR ST IVES
Set atop a Cornish moorland hill between the iconic cobble-streeted St.Ives and the working harbour-town of Penzance. Willow Green Cabin not only has breathtaking sea views across Mount's Bay that take in St. Michael's Mount and the famous Lizard Peninsular but also extensive pastoral views over a vast part of Cornwall, spreading out from views of ancient tin mines, right up past Redruth and as far as the famous clay pits of St.Austell. Each window in Willow Green Cabin offers its own view.
The space
The interior of The Cabin has a lovely calm and cosy feel, with quality modern fittings and wi-fi included. Futhermore all electricity, wi-fi, bed linen, towels, shower gel & shampoo for four is supplied inclusively for your comfort and ease.
Kitchen: There is an excellent fully equipped shaker-style kitchen area, including a Belfast sink, solid oak worktop, Hotpoint Class 9 oven and induction hob, dishwasher, retro fridge/freezer, microwave, AEG coffee machine, toaster, electric kettle and everything needed to make you feel at home in West Cornwall.
Bathroom: Has a quality Mira electric power shower together with a modern WC, washbasin, shelving and charming porthole.
Bedroom: You'll find a built-in wardrobe that includes drawers and cupboard space, a built-in corner dressing table and a double bed with a luxury Caspar mattress, pillows and bedding to match.
Open Plan Living Area: There is a dining table to seat four, a sofa-bed, a Bluetooth accessible television, and a modern Dimplex electric faux woodburner stove. The whole space is centrally heated with a modern Smart enabled wall panel heater placed in the open plan hallway.
Guest access
Accessed from a good-sized off-road private tarmac parking area, with a walk over a gravelled path that leads around a traditional Cornish cottage garden and up to a wooden verandah, The Cabin offers countryside seclusion in a truly peaceful environment.

The helpful and friendly hosts of Willow Green Cabin run a small cottage publishing company from the property so are on-hand and accessible if needed.

Being very much central to the area of Cornwall known as West Penwith, The Cabin is a great place from which to set forth as you experience other parts of Cornwall, as well as being a comfortable bolt-hole where you will find inspiration and solace as you view from its quiet interior the panoramic scenes spreading out across the Cornish coast and countryside.
What makes this property unique
Whilst you are staying in the beauty and tranquillity of the countryside and may just wish to walk and explore locally. The Cabin allows you easy access to many interesting and enjoyable places to visit, experience and/or dine within. Just a short walk or 4 minutes drive away is the quaint old White Hart Inn, or a minute further on is Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens, gallery and tea rooms; on the moorland behind is the famous Chysauster Iron Age village looked after by English Heritage, then of course, at the old market town of Marazion (8 minutes drive away), there is a lovely sandy beach with a causeway crossing to St.Michael's Mount and its fairytale castle run by the National Trust, as is Trengwainton Garden and tearoom 15 minutes in the other direction and Godolphin House and Garden around 20 minutes away.
Just 3 miles over the hill you can visit St.Ives, with its quaint cobbled streets leading down to the vast sandy beaches of Porthmeor and Porthminster, its lovely harbour with bobbing boats and the picturesque surroundings leading to the Island promontory. St.Ives is also the home of many artist's galleries including the famous Tate Gallery, the Barbara Hepworth Sculpture Gardens and the Bernard Leach Pottery and showroom.
South of The Cabin by 2 miles, Penzance nestles against Mount's Bay and is the harbour home of The Scillonian that can take you across to the Isles of Scilly. Chapel Street is the home of many antique shops, and Penzance also possesses Penlee Park and Art Gallery as well as the sub-tropical Morrab Gardens and old Victorian bandstand.
