Welcome to one of THE most popular oceanfront penthouse condos in all of the area! (Due to being an integrated partner with VRBO, you will pay us directly for your stay & only pay VRBO for their service fee. You'll be wowed upon entering this stunning condo which looks right out of a magazine & sits directly on the front of the complex offering jaw-dropping panoramic ocean views. As an an end-cap unit you'll enjoy an extra-large wrap-around balcony with dining table & loungers making it THE perfect place to dine alfresco or watch the boats go by.

The private rooftop is enjoys a conversation set, 2 hammocks & dining table & chairs. A new partial shaded pergola has been added along with 2 loungers. Your group can spread out & enjoy all the space & ocean views. It's especially enjoyable at night with the moon, stars & the shimmering lights of Cozumel. You won't believe this is all your space!

The condo boasts a bright open-concept living area with 10-foot floor-to ceiling windows offering sun-filled views from all the common areas including the master bedroom.

THINGS WE CANNOT CONTROL
- We can't control music/noise coming from outside our complex or from neighboring beach clubs. 'Playa' is an international tourist spot & our location is fun & lively. The condo enjoys hurricane doors & windows which help reduce outside sound. Most guests thoroughly enjoy their stay! Our complex has quiet hours from 11PM to 9AM for the enjoyment of our guests.
-Sargassum: During the warmer spring & summer months, the Mexican Caribbean may receive sargassum, (a form of algae). We cannot predict if & when it will arrive & if it will disrupt the beaches/swimming. The city has placed barriers in the sea & cleans the beach to the best of their ability during sargassum season. We suggest guests research the topic. The beaches will always have a small bit of seaweed that floats in & out. It will not affect your experience or stay in the season from Fall to Spring. Season is over for 2025.
- Halted construction that begun in 2022 has stopped due to permit issues. Should it resume, we will let our guests know. Most guests are not affected by this.
- Power Outages: We are not responsible for city wide power or water outages on the very rare occasion that service may be out.

Sally, Jamie, Victor, Abdios, Isaiahs, Rebecca -- all the best! Super responsive and caring people - will make you feel welcome. Get a massage at Inti and enjoy the upscale atmosphere or be waited on from your beach chair. Local vibe on the beach at night. Construction next door - leaves a little to be desired. Friendly atmosphere - Beautiful ocean view.

The condo is everything it is advertised to be…clean, comfortable, and in a beautifully central location in Playa. The manager went above and beyond in communicating with us and answering our questions, and the condominium staff worked tirelessly to keep the sargassum at bay. Great place!

Fantastic view and great location

This was our 10th year staying at Luna Encantada. We love the location as we can walk to the Mega Market and Walmart as well as so many great restaurants. Having the infinity pool as well as a nice beach to sit on is another benefit of staying at Luna Encantada. Tonya and her team are easy to deal with and always available for your questions.

The unit was very nice and in great condition. location was great. only downside of the location was the insane amount of seaweed in the beach in that entire area. Made the ocean basically in-swimmable. Other than that it was fantastic.

Fantastic location !!

My wife and I have visited Luna Encantada 6 times and love it... it is right on the beach and centrally located for everything else such as restaurants, shopping, yoga, and the ferry to Cozumel. Can't say enough about the location. The only drawback at this time is the construction happening next door, of course, there is nothing that can be done about that but can be noisy at times...also can be a little tricky to get a cab to the front door due to the proximity to the beach and having to cross 5th Av.I almost forgot one of my favorite aspects of our unit which is the rooftop access it gives you a fantastic view of Cozumel and a great hangout spot at night for star gazing!

One of the best places we've ever stayed!

The condo is huge, extremely clean and has all the amenities you need and more. You can't beat the oceanfront view and the rooftop patio with hammocks and grill. Located in the heart of Playa del Carmel so you can walk to everything. The beach has a wonderful vibe to it -- fun, lively & musical. What really stood out was the best customer service we've ever received. Sally communicated with us about every single detail about the condo and the area -- check in/out, airport transportation, overseas travel requirements, dining, entertainment, sight-seeing, etc. The staff at Luna Encantada were so helpful & accommodating and made us feel so welcome. We've used VRBO many, many times over the years and this place is one of the best, if not THE best!

We have stayed in this unit and love the view and location. The owner has been upgrading the unit over the years but more is needed. The balcony chairs are rusted and need replacement. The unit also needs more pots and pans. We had some initial issues with the plumbing but Ben, the property manager had someone out to fix it right away. We have stayed in several of the units at Luna and 3C is the best view. The complex is small and very family friendly.

Luna Encantada C3 is FABULOUS

A total gem on the beach! Condo is perfect with breathtaking views! We wanted close to the nightlife and close to fifth street and Luna was the perfect spot! Able to walk to everywhere we needed to go.. all the employees there were great and accommodating for our group! We felt perfectly safe the entire time and once behind closed doors was so peaceful and quiet.. Truly paradise on the huge deck overlooking the turquoise water, palm trees swaying and magnificent sunsets… we didn’t want to leave… And I can’t thank our hosts enough for everything they did to make our vacation perfect! Thank you Sally for all the great advice and for loaning Jaime to us for the week! He was so sweet and took us everywhere we needed to go! Amazing team you two!🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 If you’re reading this review and on the fence do yourself a favor and check this place out.. you won’t be disappointed 😊

Absolutely Amazing!

The views are stunning and the location is just perfect! We spent a wonderful week in paradise. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Starting with Sally who completely prepared us for our trip and was so responsive to all of our questions and needs. Our flight down was cancelled and we had to rearrange our transportation schedule. Lino and Sally were very accommodating and got us there with no trouble. We also had Jaime for the day. He took us to the Tulum ruins, swimming with the sea turtles and then on to a wonderful lunch where we could watch the dolphins. He was a delight. It was truly a perfect day. We spent a couple of days on the beach and Edwin at INTI was wonderful. He kept the drinks and food coming. All of which was very good! We also had a couple of massages at Inti - which were excellent and very reasonable. It was a lovely vacation and we came back very refreshed!

Excellent location, great staff but this unit needs updating

Hosts were excellent as was management staff. Upon arrival in the unit the management staff was working on fixing the dishwasher and said they got it working and showed my son how to use it. We tried using it on Wednesday but it wouldn’t work. Management staff came to the unit and tried to fix it but they were unable to do so and deemed it inoperable. So no dishwasher while we were there. Also on Wednesday we tried to use the washing machine but couldn’t get it to work. Management staff got it working but when we tried to use it again on Friday it was not working so called Managenent staff to advise. Still not working when we left. When we arrived Managenent staff was trying to get the tv in the bedroom working but they were unable to do so and said they would look for a new part over the weekend. On Monday they said the tv was inoperable and it had to be replaced and would contact the owner to get approval to get a new tv. Please note this was an old small tv-nothing fancy. Late on Tuesday they arrived with a new tv which has no cable connection. Hard to understand this. Also, where the living room tv is concerned there’s very limited cable service. The dresser in the second bedroom had no runner’s on it and flopped out when trying to use it. The second bathroom is dark with only ceiling lightening, and lighting is not much better in it master bedroom which has a dresser lamp on the counter top to assist with lighting. We reviewed our concerns with the management staff as they spent a lot of time in the unit while we were there. This could be the very best until in the development as it has great views but needs updating. Tonya and Sally, along with the Managenent staff, and all of the staff at Luna excellent! Sorry to write such a negative review about the unit itself.

Amazing Stay

We loved our stay at Luna Encantada! The condo has incredible views and is in a perfect location, so close to everything. We didn't have to use a taxi for anything, yet the condo was nice and quite. We loved all of the space in the condo and on the huge balcony and rooftop areas. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need for dishes, and came with drinking water as well. We watched the fire shows at the beach restaurant every night from our balcony and it was a huge hit with our kids. We were able to walk down the steps in the mornings and have coffee at the beach club. It was so relaxing and convenient. All of the staff were great and helpful with anything we needed. The pool was very nice, and we loved the cozy feel of the complex. Everyone was friendly. Sally was very quick to answer any questions we had, and she gave us lots of amazing recommendations like things to do in the area, best massage (right next door), private tour guide to snorkel with turtles, great restaurant recommendations, and much more. We loved it all. The ferry to Cozumel is a quick walk as well, it was very convenient to go there one day. We had a blast!

Heaven on the beach

This was our 5th stay at Luna Encantada and we just love it. Tonya and Sally are our favorite property managers. They provide great communication and trip/area info! The oceanfront units at Luna like this one are like heaven on the beach. You can’t beat the floor to ceiling window wall in the open concept living room/dining room/kitchen. WOW!!! We really appreciate the view from the master bedroom as well. Everything is clean and comfortable. This unit has lots of pillows, linens and towels. Having a washer and dryer is awesome. We go home with suitcases full of clean clothes! The location is perfect for us with restaurants on either side that have wonderful servers that bring us food and drinks right to our lounge chairs! Shout out to William at Fusion and Alfonso at Inti! And Abdias, Luna’s beach attendant, is amazing too. He is always there with a smile to make sure you are comfortable and have what you need on the beach. Be sure to show your appreciation with a tip!! The lounge chairs and umbrellas are a definite bonus. Having gates and security personnel is also a plus. I just can’t say enough good things about Tonya and Sally and Luna Encantada! Our home away from home!

One of the best condos on the beach for views & being close to the action! Amazing staff, fully stocked kitchen, and lots of space to stretch out. Balcony is huge, and there there's the spacious private rooftop with hammocks. HEAVEN! Lots of places to eat and a brief stroll to Walmart.

Beautiful direct ocean front penthouse 3 bedroom condo

This penthouse condo at Luna Encantada is the best condo in the complex in our opinion. The views are unparalleled. Complete privacy, well built, well appointed, huge windows and wrap around decks, huge upper terrace area. Couldn't ask for more. The owner even provides free bottled water for renter's usage. There is a restaurant on either side of this complex and people from both places will serve you in the pool or on your lounge chairs or where ever. Great food and drinks from both places. The complex is maintained beautifully and the employees are always available and helpful. The entire area is experiencing daily seaweed on the beach like much of the Caribbean but the employees work hard every day to clean it up and haul it off. We will come back for sure!

What a view!

We had a fabulous stay at Luna Encantada C3 in January 2018. The view is spectacular, the location perfect for quick access to the shops, bars and restaurants on and around Quinta Avenida and the apartments sit on what is undoubtedly the nicest part of Playa Del Carmen beach. Great beach food/drinks service either side at Inti and Fusion. The Luna Encantada staff could not have been more helpful, special thanks to Tonya and Abigail. We'd love to come back!

Almost a perfect TEN

We very much enjoyed our stay at Luna Encantada! The view from our 3rd floor condo was spectacular. My son-in-law said that he felt like a movie star! The beach, the ocean, the people were all perfect. The condo was clean, spacious and comfortable. We were impressed with the service we received from the caretakers of the condo. As soon as we called they came! We will go again.

This was a return trip, and Luna remains my favorite location on Playa. It was disappointing to see the Fusion Bar next door town down, but the condo itself remained totally worth it.
