The house was lovely and the owner very helpful and responsive. Our only complaint is the one if the lavatories was out of order and if we’d come with more than the 5 of us this would have been a problem. Claudia

A dream come true

Villa Stenkulla is a dream — and a dream come true. We all, grandchildren, my sons and their wives, and I, the grandmother, totally loved and enjoyed being here, every moment, and we were so very happy here. We had a marvelous time. All the activities we could do: a lot of tennis, canoe, swimming and jumping in the water, cooking, meals, walks, beautiful, enchanting views, gathering blueberries, and more — our time together at Villa Stenkulla was amazing and a great gift! Johan and his wife have done a fantastic job restoring and taking care of this treasure of a house. We appreciate their generous and welcoming hospitality, and we are grateful that we could stay at Villa Stenkulla on Stegesund for a precious and unforgettable week.

Ferienhaus in traumhafter Lage

Eine wirklich wunderschöne Unterkunft mit Blick über die Schären. Idylle Pur. Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und können das Ferienhaus nur empfehlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Parfait !

Quelle propriété ! Moment magique passé dans cette villa ! Un panorama à couper le souffle, et en plus pleins de petites attentions qui agrémentent le voyage : le kayak, le sauna, le terrain de tennis, le taxi boat, etc… je recommande cette villa avec plaisir !

Summer paradise

This is such a gorgeous spot with incredible views and nature all around. It was the perfect place for me and my family of four, with plenty of space for other family to come and spend a night or two. Highly recommend the sauna and a jump in the ocean after! Johan is a wonderful and incredibly helpful host. So happy to have found and stayed at Stenkulla!

Drömplats i skärgården

Vi spenderade en semestervecka i augusti förra året på denna plats och det var helt fantastiskt på alla sätt, en skärgårdsdröm. Huset är otroligt charmigt och rymligt. Det finns mycket plats för gäster och barn och att äta mat på punschverandan är en magisk upplevelse då man har utsikt över hela vattnet. Egna bryggan med bastu och bad är fantastisk och där satt vi och åt de flesta av luncherna. Stegesund som ö är otroligt fin att ta promenader på och alla på ön är väldigt trevliga. Det är nära att ta sig till Vaxholm för att handla osv. Värden var väldigt hjälpsam och mån om att vi skulle ha en bra vistelse. Vi hade en fantastisk vecka och det kunde inte ha blivit bättre än så här, kan verkligen rekommendera detta till alla!
