About this property

Recently refurbished barn, close to coast, pet friendly with a secure garden.

Following our successful holiday apartment, Oak View Loft at Stone House Farm, which has been awarded a certificate of excellence, we have refurbished our courtyard barn to create a pet-friendly, luxury single-storey holiday space. It is situated just a five minute drive from the beautiful beaches of Sea Palling and ten minutes from the nearest Broad at Stalham where boat hire is available.The open-plan self catering property is within the grounds of our home, Stone House Farm. It has ample parking and can sleep up to four people. All guests have access to the 10 acres of grounds which include delightful woodland areas where you can relax and hear the distant roar of the sea, experience bird life or if you are lucky you may stumble upon a number of species of deer. As well as the 10 acres of grounds there is a private, secure courtyard garden which is south facing. This year we have also completed a separate summer house which has table tennis and a small snooker table.

Perfect location for our short stay

Loved the Courtyard Barn! It was perfect for what we needed it for - a short bank holiday trip with quick access to a few different beaches. Also Small Sticks cafe does an amazing breakfast in a lovely setting. Marianne and Jonathan were perfect hosts and we loved the homemade brownies and bread - thank you!

Exceptional property in an ideal location to visit the Norfolk Broads. Welcome basket including wine! Every accessory if self-catering. Excellent wi-if. Walk-in rain shower -bliss! Amazing Few Days Away!

We had a lovely few days away here with the kids! The barn was so cosy and had everything you could possibly need there. It was nice to have a safe enclosed outside area the kids could play in. We was greeted by Marianne and Jonathan as soon as we arrived , both very friendly people who can't do enough for you. We was pleasantly surprised the fridge had fresh milk and eggs already there for us aswell as the most amazing freshly baked bread and brownies! The grounds of the property are gorgeous, we had a few walks through the woodland area and the kids really enjoyed the big trampoline in the garden. If I was to return to Norfolk again I wouldn't think twice about booking here again. It really makes the holiday having somewhere so nice to stay. Thankyou for having us!

Amazing!

A must if you love wildlife, walks and amazing beaches. Hosts Marianne and Jonathon were so welcoming. They greeted us when we arrived and treated us to some lovely homemade cookies and bread with juice. So thoughtful. Cottage is well equipped with everything you would need for a self catering break. Secure courtyard so my two dogs were always safe. Lovely walks on site through woodland. We were so lucky to see deers on every walk. Just magical. The cottage is close to some amazing beaches. Glorious weather. We had such a special time and will definitely visit again. Let’s keep it our secret.

A fantastic comfortable stay in a great location.

This property has everything needed for a great break away. A very comfortable bed, a big walk in shower, a well equipped kitchen and a thoughtful and appreciated welcome pack. Hosts were welcoming on arrival and available if needed. The grounds were great for our dog and there was plenty of wildlife to be seen and in a fabulous location with a short drive to amazing beaches. A highly recommended place to stay.

Lessingham cottage

This is a modern fully equipped and cosy property. Situated in a peaceful location, but not too far away from busy resorts. Anyone wanting a peaceful relaxing break away then you should consider this property. Lots of lovely walks as well. The hosts were also very approachable.

Fantastic Staycation

We received a message from Marianne on the day of arrival to tell us the property was ready, this was very helpful and gave us a few extra hours on our first day. We took the grandchildren away for a few days and this was the ideal place set in 10 acres of grounds. It’s ideally situated for the beautiful beaches which are only a couple of miles away. Marianne and Johnathan are the perfect natural hosts and always on hand if needed. We will definitely book again!

Beautiful barn conversion, set in wonderful wood lands. Ten acres of land which you can walk round. Very dog friendly. The owners marianne and Johnathan were very friendly and welcoming, nothing too much trouble. A lovely welcome pack awaited us on arrival of wine, cake, milk, eggs, butter and juice. Very much appreciated. The accommodation had everything to offer. Spotlessly clean and lovely decor. Very close to all parts of Norfolk. If in this area would definitely stay here again.

Our week in Norfolk!

We had the most wonderful stay in Lessingham, the accommodation was perfect, and both Marianne and Jonathon could not have more welcoming. We used it as a base to have days out, sometimes to the wonderful local beaches, and one day further afield to Wells-next-to-the-sea.
