An idyllic retreat in the New Forest with ponies right outside the gate. Walk or cycle with miles of land to roam over, or go into Burley for pubs and quaint shops. Numerous beaches, Lymington and Christchurch within 25 mins, Salisbury 45 mins, Southampton and Bournemouth 30 mins.
4 double bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, one ensuite, large living room, kitchen with all mod cons, wifi, driveway parking with Electric Vehicle ChargePoint (7kw type 2), fibre broadband, private garden, BBQ, forest views immediately outside. For our youngest visitors we have stairgates, travel cots, high chairs, booster seats, baby bouncy chair, fire guard and toys available. A welcome of tea, coffee, milk, sugar and biscuits await you. Up to 3 dogs very welcome, with no extra charge (please ask if you have more).
There is an adjoining one bedroom cottage available to rent, the properties can be joined to sleep 12 plus babies.

Wonderful house, lovely location

The house was exactly what we were looking for, a good size, plenty of character and space for us all. The host went above and beyond, checking that we were enjoying our stay and had everything we needed. That location is spectacular, in the heart of the New Forest, with Burley just down the road. Would recommend and stay again.

Fantastic property

An amazing place to spend a few days with family and attend a wedding. House was beautifully presented with very welcome little touches which really made our stay all the more enjoyable. We had no wifi (was there, couldn’t make it work) and no phone signal (all on EE, aparently Vodaphone is better) however as all the family were there this was a welcome change. Highly recommend this place.

GREAT LOCATION IN THE FOREST AND ONLY 20 MINUTES FROM THE SEA AND SANDY BEACHES. VERY EASY TO DRIVE AROUND AND SEE THE PONIES AND DONKEYS. PERFECT FOR A FAMILY STAY. Delightful cottage in the heart of the new forest

A very well equipped and nicely situated property where you will want for nothing. The location is great as you can walk straight out into the new forest and also access cycling tracks easily. The property is nicely decorated and we appreciated the touches such as having the table set for dinner for our arrival with a chilled bottle of wine in the fridge.

Family of 6 adults and 4 dogs. Spacious cottage catering for our every need. Short walk or drive to Burley. Plenty of forest walls on your door step. Communication was excellent with host. Will definitely book again.

The cottage offered everything for a perfect break.

The property was exactly as described and beautifully presented on our arrival. It was very well equipped and provided the perfect base to explore the beautiful location. We had a minor mishap during our stay but the owners were notified of the issue and responded/attended immediately - great service. We can highly recommend this property.

Lovely property

Lovely property in the heart of the New Forrest, about 25mins walk from Burley. Every day we walked outside and saw horses and pigs roaming within meters of the property. Four bedrooms (be aware of steep steps to the attic for bedroom 4) and the master bedroom has the biggest bed we've ever stayed at! The log fire was set ready for our use, a nice touch. One small comment: it might be helpful if there were more towels available. Overall delighted to have stayed there and would very much recommend.

Excellent location and very comfortable beds.

We had a great weekend in spite of the weather. Only real downside was the cottage was incredibly cold when we arrived and took till the next day to warm, would suggest at this time of year the heating be turned up a few hours before guests arrive.
