Mimi apartment is a beautiful apartment located on the ground floor of an elegant building of the early twentieth century inside a quiet and private street in the center of Florence, 15 minutes from Ponte Vecchio and the Duomo. The apartment consists of a living room with a very comfortable sofa and armchairs and a table with chairs, a fully equipped kitchen that overlooks a beautiful garden available exclusively to our guests. There are two large double bedrooms one with a double bed and one with a French bed. The latter may possibly accommodate another person in a chair-bed. The bathroom is complete with bidet, sink, toilet and shower.
The apartment is equipped with television, air conditioning (in one BED room and in the kitchen), free wi-fi, heating, washing machine and dishwasher.

When we arrived on a cold, rainy night after a long flight, it was a joy to enter the warm, comfortable, and beautiful apartment. We enjoyed spending time in the kitchen where we would enjoy our coffee and discuss the events of the day, especially after a long day of exploring Florence. We loved the spaciousness of the rooms and the lovely decor. I already miss being there and hope to be able to come back some day.

Very friendly, welcoming host. She met us at the apartment for an early check in so we could drop our bags. We were given a brief tour of the apartment and a thorough description of all the important things (stove, laundry, garbage, etc.) Apartment was our favorite on a 3 week Italy trip. The space, cleanliness, amenities, neighborhood, everything was perfect. Would highly recommend to other travelers and absolutely will book the next time we visit Florence.

Wanted to stay in the city so I could do a deep dive into Florence. Great location to stay at that allowed us to walk to all the sights, eat meals, partake of adult beverages without having to worry about driving and parking. Once we had seen about every thing in Florence, we rented a vehicle and explored Tuscany using the private parking at the residence. Everything went according to plan. Amazing stay

This was the perfect location for our time in Florence. It was close to the main train station for our day trips and was in a spot that wasn't busy, but extremely walkable to a lot of the places we wanted to see. The apartment itself was very cozy and had everything we needed. Alessandra was extremely helpful in everything from the check in process to great recommendations. A Home Away from Home for a month

I found Mimi Apartment to be perfect for me. It is charming, clean, and very comfortable. It is spacious and furnished with quirky antiques that make it feel like visiting your Italian grandma. Beds were very comfy and kitchen has the basics so I could cook a meal there. Thank you Alessandra for being responsive when I had questions. Loved the location/ quiet and very walkable to all the historic sites. I’ll be back!

Character ground floor apartment, lived in by the owner for many years. It is charming, has a comfortable feel and you can tell that it has been lovingly looked after. Very spacious and in a very quiet safe area. Location is superb - 15-20 minutes walk to all major sites, various bus stops within 5 minutes walk, supermarket at the end of the street, numerous good restaurants with 5-10 minutes walk. Owner is lovely and communications are excellent/very prompt. Let me reiterate that this is a character property and so those who crave the most modern and up-to-date amenities (coffee machine, microwave, handy plugs for devices) may wish to look elsewhere (and probably pay a lot more). We would definitely stay again. The owner has compiled an extensive book of Florence by area, restaurants, shopping etc which we found very helpful (and very accurate) - her recommendations were excellent.

A great experience overall

Alessandra was actually waiting for us on the street so that she could open the parking gate for us. She gave great advice on restaurants, shops and attractions to visit, but, furthermore, welcomes us into her childhood apartment. Spacious, well-organized, with good air conditioning in one bedroom and the kitchen. A wonderful stay at a great location. Would definitely recommend.

Home away from home!

We had a wonderful stay at the Mimi Apartment and Alessandra was an amazing host! She is incredibly responsive and gave us wonderful recommendations for local restaurants and activities. The apartment was quiet yet walking distance to train and city center. We also loved sitting outside in the beautiful backyard garden each morning and evening. Highly recommend and if we ever go back we would definitely stay again. It was truely our home away from home during our amazing visit to Italy.

Charming, Spacious Apartment

This well-equipped, spacious apartment offers a comfortable respite from the crowds of tourists elsewhere in the city. In the Mimi apartment we enjoyed a glimpse into the authentic Florence, as the home retains the furnishings and decorations of the family that once resided there. We felt entirely at home there, and also enjoyed the amenities of the neighbourhood, especially the nearby pasticceria where we had our breakfast cappuccini and brioche each morning.
