Zerniq is a luxury three bedroom apartment in Misrah Simar Apartment Complex set in the charming village of Qala, on the Island of Gozo, Malta.

The complex offers a large swimming pool, a jacuzzi and children's pool and a large deck area and garden with native plants. It has a peaceful location yet only five minute walk from the main village square, a very popular venue full of restaurants and bars.

With its the large terrace overlooking the pool area and country views, our apartment offers a quality relaxing and tranquil atmosphere. Zerniq has 3 bedrooms (one en suite), a spacious and airy living room, dining room, bathroom and fully equipped kitchen (including microwave, dishwasher, washing machine / dryer, coffee machine and other kitchen equipment)

Fully air-conditioned, the apartment comes with a state of the art entertainment system including IP TV, Blu Ray Home Cinema System, Wii console and games, DVD players, computer with internet, and free WIFI up to the pool area.

Parking is available right outside the complex. This is safe and free.

Zerniq is fully licenced by the Malta Tourism Authority

Beautiful, modern apartment

The apartment is beautiful, modern and very spacious. There is anything a visitor might need and the owner is so nice. The swimming pool is clean and well maintained. The village is charming and the island of Gozo offers a lot sightseeing.

Summer holiday

This modern apartment is very beautiful and spacious for +6 people. Clean rooms and nice poolarea. Konrad, the owner, is very kind and gave us info about sightseeing and answered all our questions about our vacation. Qala is a small and quiet village. Bus stop at 200 meters of the apartment, to harbour and Victoria.

Wir waren rund um zufrieden. Konrad hat sich beim Check in viel Zeit genommen und uns Ausflugstipps und Restaurantempfehlungen gegeben. Die Wohnung war top ausgestattet. Bücher, Spiele, Adapter, viele Reiseführer, Poolnudeln, Baby-Ausstattung und vieles mehr.Der Pool war super gepflegt und sauber. Wir haben uns wie Zuhause gefühlt.
Pool bei Nacht. Vom Balkon aus hört man das geplätscher vom kleinen Wasserfall. Total schön!

My name is Konrad and I have been born and bred on the Island of Gozo, Malta.

For the most of my 53 years I have been in the travel and hospitality industry with my first job being with CG Holidays and travel of London, UK. After my return back to Gozo, I opened up an outgoing travel agency, Links Travel which has since become one of the leading travel companies on the island.

An airline pilot by profession (I have since retired after nearly 35 years of flying for Airmalta, our national airline), I love to travel and explore every corner of the world.

Why they chose this property

Zerniq forms part of the Misrah Simar Complex, a luxury residential complex in the quant village of Qala. The village provides a rural environment yet its main square rivals even the one in Victoria (Gozo's capital) because it has some very good restaurants and bars and is lively all year round.

Qala hosts one of the nicest beaches, 'Hondoq ir Rummien', with its fantastic views of the channel and the island of Comino.

Easily reached from Mgarr Harbour (10 minute leisurely drive), the village of Qala has become a favourite destination with holidaymakers in Gozo.

What makes this property unique

Whenever I have a choice, I tend to prefer self-catering properties over hotel accommodation. Because I do travel a lot I know first hand what people need and look for in their holiday property.

When I bought and furnished Zerniq I wanted to provide holiday accommodation that is cosy, modern and comfortable, a home away from home and a property that is truly unique.

We service and upgrade our property every season to esnure that our high standards are maintained throughout.
