About this property

A Georgian Masterpiece Steps from Stirling

Treat yourself to a historic stay at our 19th century Georgian home, just a 5 minute walk from the Stirling town centre, which has plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Stroll the enclosed garden with your dog(s) at your side, then cosy up with a Robert Burns book and a whisky beside one of our crackling fireplaces. “It's like walking into a Jane Austen Novel,” says a past guest, and we are in full agreement, with one exception: our modern amenities. In other words; it’s a Jane Austen novel with Netflix and an espresso maker.

Rather than leave this magnificent home empty while I'm on tour for my work in the music industry, I decided to share it with others. I take great care to ensure guests feel at home here but not like they're staying in someone else's house. I provide quality amenities (including whisky!) and a "relaxed luxury" design. With space for up to 10 people and an acre of landscaped grounds for playing outdoors, it's an effortless place to host everything from team building retreats and friend getaways to birthday parties and family reunions.

— Guest Interaction
We do not often meet our guests in person due to our schedules. However, you can contact me (Alexandra) directly for any advice or recommendations and if there is an emergency. If I am traveling or unavailable, my cleaner lives nearby, and knows all about the house, services and our area.

—Guest Access
You will have access to the entire house and grounds, except for one locked room on the lower floor and the garage.
There is a self check-in process with a lockbox.

—The Neighbourhood
Stirling is a very safe, friendly, and historic town. From our home, you can walk just a few minutes to the Stirling castle, then stop in at many watering holes on the way back. You will also find plenty of delicious local restaurants, including a good few favourites we will share with you upon arrival. Our location also makes it easy to pick up groceries, food and other necessities at the shopping centre.

Stirling is excellently situated for traveling around Scotland, whether by train or car, as well, with the train station just a 10-minute walk away.

—Getting Around
Many of guests rent cars, but you can easily get by without one. We are a 10-minute walk from the train station and a 5-minute walk to town for bars, restaurants, and the Stirling Castle. If you do bring a vehicle, there is plenty of parking for 4 vehicles on the grounds. Plus, we provide two bicycles for exploring.

I work in the music industry, and I'm on tour most of the time. I stay between this lovely house in Scotland, Ibiza, Malta or where ever the music takes me.

I'm available to make your stay as special as it should be, from any questions you have before booking, to after you book, to the day you arrive, during your stay and till you leave, if it's an extra cot, bed, special dietary requirements or even just a recommendation for the best restaurant for dinner, I'm at the other end of the phone when ever you need, you won't want to leave.

Why they chose this property

I work in the music industry and I’m lucky enough to be on tour most of the time, so I thought it would be a lovely idea to let other nice people experience my stunning Georgian home, which is a mere 500 steps away from the city centre of the historic town of Stirling. I’d say my home is one of the finest Georgian houses in Stirling and yet, very homely, set in nearly an acer of grounds with an enormous 10 feet wall surrounding our very large private garden, I’d like to welcome families or friends who want to experience a real Scotland with whisky on tap and haggis in the fridge including my personal whisky cream sauce, which I’ll leave the recipe for you. One day here you will know why Scotland is one of the most friendliest places on earth.

What makes this property unique

Amazing very large back garden with a large 10 foot wall making the very large garden the perfect getaway from the outside, great place for the kids to play football, have a picnic, or barbecue or just let your dogs to run wild.

There are 2 bikes and helmets available for you to explore Stirling
Pets more than welcome except bedrooms.
Ample Free Parking at the house.
