☀️☀️Sun Dancer | Spacious Soundfront Retreat w/ Pier and Pool Access☀️☀️
Water Front House, 5 Bedrooms + bunk room, 3 Baths, (Sleeps 10) decks and patio
This house sits on the calm waters of the sound and has gorgeous views. It has been beautifully furnished and comfortably accommodates large families or big groups of friends. It was designed to sleep up to 16 people but due to HOA restrictions we can only allow 10. This makes it a bargain for your group of 10 - lots of extra room! It has five bedrooms and a bonus room plus extra living space. And don’t forget the sandy beach and views!!
The main level of the house is an open concept with a large kitchen, dining space, and living room. The kitchen has stainless appliances, custom painted cabinets, granite counter tops, and an eye-catching glass back splash! The dining table seats 6-8 and the bar area will accommodate another four people. The kitchen also comes equipped with all your necessities.
The living room has two large sofas, one of which is a sleeper. It also has two comfortable swivel chairs and a large flat screen TV. This great room has lots of windows and a sliding glass door. This not only allows guests to enjoy views of the sound but provides a lot of natural sunlight. From the great room, you can step out to the spacious deck. This is an ideal place to grill on the gas barbecue or enjoy your morning cup of coffee while you watch for dolphins.
The main level of the home also has two bedrooms with queen sized beds in each room as well as flat screen tvs. One full bathroom with a shower is also on this level.
The top level of the home has a spacious master bedroom with a king-sized bed. This amazing room also has a private balcony that overlooks the sound. Both the master bedroom and the private deck are perfect places to relax and read a book while you enjoy the serene views of the island and beautiful water. The top level of the home has a huge "master style" bathroom which has lots of storage, a walk-in shower, a large soaking tub, and grand sized counters with two sinks. The top floor also has two additional bedrooms. One of these has a king-sized bed and the other has a queen. All three of these bedrooms have flat screen TV's.
The bottom floor of this beautiful home is the icing on the cake. It is a private get away, when entering from the stairs you will find a nice sized den with a sleeper sofa, a swivel chair, and a flat screen on the wall. You will also find a kitchenette area with a full-sized fridge, a sink, microwave, and stacked washer/dryer unit. The bunk room on this floor is a huge hit with the kids. It has four queen sized bunk beds, a chalk board, and a flat screen mounted on the wall! The whole room was designed with kids in mind and was made just for fun! A large beautiful bathroom with a walk-in shower is also on this level.
The outside space makes the home even larger than it seems. Again, it has a large deck off of the living room with a propane grill, a balcony off of the master, four additional balconies, and a covered area down below to stretch out and enjoy the shade! The home has nice landscaping with a brick paver back yard which leads to the walkway to the pier and sound.
What makes this home so perfect for a beach vacation is it's location! It is located directly on the sound with a community pier and a sandy beach right in front of the house. This water is always calm and provides for perfect swimming when the gulf has red flags due to under currents. The sound is also a great place to fish, go paddle boarding, ride wave runners, search for hermit crabs, and numerous other activities.... right out the back door!
Sun Dancer at 1452 Homeport Drive, is in a small quaint little neighborhood which has a nice sized community pool. It is approximately four houses down to the pool and a very short walk. The main attraction of Navarre Beach is the Gulf of Mexico- and the beach is only a short walk or bike ride away! !

The house was beautiful, unfortunately the pool is under construction but the host was on aware of that. An inventory of things in the house should be done the umbrellas and most of the beach chairs were broken. A very minor thing but only very small frying pans in the kitchen a large frying pan would be great. I would rent there again
We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at this Beach house. The property was clean and then neighborhood was very peaceful. The property was quick to answer any questions and resolved the A/C problem quickly. We had a wonderful time!
Our family had a great time. Everything that was listed was available and more. Family friendly. Staff was helpful in every way.

Couples weekend
The house looked great on the outside and it was nice to have private beach access. However, there was misleading information on the website. The pool was located 7 houses down from the property. The listing included the next door neighbors pool in the photo, which is confusing. When we arrived at the property the sink was fell in the lower bathroom level and we weren’t able to use that bathroom. The house was invested with flies when we arrived. The upstairs rooms and bathroom are not fit for sharing. You have to go through the bathroom to get to one of the bedrooms, which leads to no privacy for guests who may be taking a shower and one of the bathroom doors did not lock. Overall you’re paying for access to the beach. The workers left shelves on the floor when they tried to fix the sink. The cleaners left dirty towels at the property. Overall nice house, minor issues.

Thank you for taking the time to share detailed feedback about your recent stay. We truly appreciate your honesty, as it helps us improve and ensure a better experience for all our guests.
We're pleased to hear that you enjoyed the overall look of the house and the convenience of the private beach access. However, we are sincerely sorry for the many issues you encountered during your stay. This is not the level of quality or care we strive to provide.
We deeply regret the confusion caused by the misleading photo of the pool. While the listing does state that it is a community pool, we understand how frustrating it must have been to expect otherwise. We're taking immediate action to update the listing with accurate images and descriptions, and we are investigating how the incorrect photo was included.
We also apologize for the broken sink in the lower bathroom and the fact that it made the bathroom unusable during your stay. The additional inconvenience of workers leaving shelves on the floor is unacceptable, and we are reviewing our internal maintenance processes to ensure timely and respectful service in the future.
The fly infestation and the oversight by our cleaning crew—including leaving dirty towels—are especially concerning. Cleanliness is one of our top priorities, and your feedback has prompted a thorough review of our cleaning protocols. We are working directly with our cleaning service to prevent this from happening again.
Regarding the upstairs layout and privacy concerns, we understand that needing to pass through a bathroom to reach a bedroom is not ideal. We will be updating our listing to clearly explain this aspect so future guests can make informed decisions. The issue with the bathroom door lock is being addressed immediately as well.
While we're glad you still found the house and beach access enjoyable, we recognize that your experience did not meet the standards we aim to uphold. As an acknowledgment of the inconveniences you faced, we would like to offer you a discount on a future stay with us .
Thank you again for your valuable feedback.

Perfect home for multigenerational family including small children
We loved this property. The only lacking items were pack n play and beach toys which would have been nice added bonus. My parents were driving to meet us at the beach and brought most things. The kitchen was fairly well stocked for condo with plenty of dishes and cookware. So many options for activities for kids with the sound, beach, pool and the butterfly and turtle exhibits and playground nearby. We slept so comfortably with 7 adults and 2 children.

Thanks for the great review! We love our happy guests. Just one correction, this is a Beach House not a condo :) - Thanks again and hope to see you back soon.
Location was great! We had the Sound right behind us and the beach a short distance. Neighborhood pool was nice and the neighbors were friendly. Big problem was the air on the main floor where the kitchen, living room and 2 bedrooms were. We were not able to use the bedrooms, family slept downstairs in the bunk room. The top floor was cool and the bottom floor was too. The sun came in through the glass sliding doors and heated the main living area. We called maintenance and he came and told us he could do nothing, he did get us fans but it was still hot. It wasn't even that hot outside,a high of 83. Beautiful place and great area but the air on the main floor was a problem.

Thank you for the nice review. Concerning the air - we had the technician go out to the house and they said the air was operating normally. It was 70 degrees in the room with muggy 85 degrees outside. We have managed this house for over 15 years and have had the AC replaced recently and have not had any other guests have the same issue. Gulf Coast Getaways
My family goes to the beach every year and we decided to try Navarre this time. We usually stay on the beach but opted for this house on the Sound as we wanted a pool option and it was a ‘short walk’ to the beach. Things to note from our experience:
- you will need to plan to drive a car to the beach access. It is not a bad walk but difficult with all the stuff you need to take. The house did have some chairs and wagons you could use. We used a wagon from the parking lot to the beach.
- For us the trash (which is in the front of the house) smelled awful. It also looked like there was a pile of rotting fruit next to the house. Combined caused a huge fly problem. So much so that we bought fly traps bc they kept getting in the house.
- the house itself was clean and there was plenty of rooms. The bed my husband and I stayed in on the main floor was the literal worst bed I’ve ever slept on. We ended up buying a mattress pad just to make it tolerable. The rest of the family seemed to be ok with their beds.
- the main floor is very hot. Especially sleeping at night. There is evening sun and the AC controls are on the basement and top floors, something to keep in mind.
- We rarely used the community pool. The water looked cloudy and not clean and it was small and the water was bath water warm.
- there was a plumbing issue in the basement that the management team handled very quickly and efficiently. It was a city problem
Overall it was not a bad house, just know these concerns

Bring EVERYTHING and Don’t make ANY noise
The house itself is lovely and in a good location. At first glance it seemed like all of us were going to have a nice family reunion. That is until the neighbor complained that we were noisy on the patio at 10pm. We were all just talking on the patio. No music. The following evening we were contacted by property management at 7:45pm that we were again making too much noise. We were threatened that they would physically come remove us. We were making a normal amount of noise. We had an array of ages from 3-63. We were not a fraternity or bunch of college kids. Needless to say our vacation was ruined as we felt we had to stay indoors the rest of the trip. Not good.
Other cons:
Not enough towels. Literally one toilet paper roll per bathroom. Not one garbage bag. Not one seasoning in the house. You literally needed to buy/bring EVERYTHING. The WiFi did not work
For the price you’d think they would provide something “extra”.
If you are a large party that wants a family reunion and you want to enjoy the patio on the beach and NOT talk, then it’s pefect, if you actually like each other and want to catch up then do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Gulf Coast Getaways was the name of the Property Management Company and they were completely unprofessional. Ruined vacation.

Well, in 11 years of professional management you will come across some guests you just wish you had never allowed them to make a reservation. This is one of those guests. The truthful part of the review is the house is lovely and in a good location. The other truthful aspect was they were making excessive noise to the point that a neighbor asked us to intervene to see if we can help with the situation. This neighbor had never called us before about a noise/party situation and we have rented this house out consistently for 10 years. We politely asked the guest to bring down the noise, have a good time, but be respectful of your surroundings. I was put on speaker phone and one of the male guests, obviously had been drinking, replied "we can do whatever we want, this is a vrbo property." He was rude, obstinate, and at that point we knew we had a major issue with the party in the house. I did remind them they could be evicted for this type of behavior, the woman replied that would not be necessary and apologized for the male guest behavior. They completed their 3 night stay without further incident. However, after departure, they slandered us on social media and initiated a charge-back on their credit card for their stay. Of course the charge-back will not be successful and we have blocked them from continuing to slander our company. This house is an awesome house for a family vacation for up to 10 people. The WIFI works perfectly fine and all guests are given a list of "things to bring" prior to arrival, we do not leave food items left by other guests in the house. As indicated parties/events are not allowed at the house nor do we advertise that this is acceptable. We have notified the other property management companies in the area about who the guest is and have recommended to them all not to do business with them. We make over 1200 reservations a year with our awesome inventory, unfortunately a very small handful of guests end up being trouble and behave well outside acceptable norms. This guest was that type of offender. I am sorry for people to have to read this review and our response, but we have no ability to block this nonsense or else we would have. Please read the other accurate reviews.

Not rebooking here
We've been traveling to Santa Rosa Island for over 25 years. This is one house we won't be rebooking.
Nice, quiet neighborhood and close proximity to pool was great. The view of the sound was amazing! We saw a pod of dolphins multiple times from the main floor deck. Access to the sound was great, especially with our family (4 under 3 yrs).
If you have kids, you MUST bring baby gates. One was provided. We brought multiple knowing that we would be dealing with lots of stairs.
You could tell that the house had been cleaned and picked up before we arrived but we quickly noticed dirtiness everywhere. There was food splatter all over the kitchen. Some were directly in front of my face when I was making coffee. We had to call maintenance for a broom because the only one there was 2 ft tall and had seen much better days. There was not a vaccuum.
Configuration of the house is strange. It's almost too big. There is NO GARAGE. The garage has been built out into the "bunk room/game room/kitchenette". This area was rarely used unless we were using the bathroom, doing laundry, or grabbing something from the fridge. Two of the bunk mattresses had to be folded up on a corner because the bed frame was built around one of the piers. Mattresses on main floor seemed cheap. We ended up using these rooms for our pack and plays. Mattresses on other floors were decent.
Front door doesn't lock from inside. Our 2 1/2-year-old was easily able to open door without any problem. That's a little terrifying. Downstairs sliding door lock was broken. No stick to use but we called Maintenance and they brought one to us quickly.
We towed a 4x8 Uhaul from Oklahoma because we have so many large children items we had to pack. Thinking we would store the Uhaul in the garage the week we'd be there and not worry about it. We didn't realize there was no garage until we pulled up. We unhooked the Uhaul after unloading and pulled it close to the house. Unaware the HOA does not allow trailers of any kind, we were told we had to move it immediately. Well, with four small children, we told them we couldn't unless there was some way to secure it without our car attached. Anyway, they never came with a ball lock for the trailer and we left two days later.
The second night we were there, management came by to ask if we dumped shrimp and fish guts. We had no idea what they were talking about but by the end of our trip, we knew the HOA did not like having this house as a rental property.

Thank you for the review - there are some useful critiques that we appreciate and work on, and definitely will discuss with cleaning your experience. The HOA has been a problem in the past but they have become much more rental friendly as several members of the HOA now participate with their homes as vacation rentals. There was a claim made against you, we do not know if it is true or not, that is why we called you and asked about the claim, we will always error on the side of believing our guests and this is exactly what we told you and hence we found the claims untrue. The garage area is part of the living of the house and parking is on the driveway, this was modification done long ago to make it sleep more and be a better vacation rental home. There are not trailers, boats, etc allowed on driveways which is very typical of most homes in an association. For the prospective guests, please read the positives and understand this guest was upset about being accused of something they did not do and being asked to move the trailer, which we just sucked up and never made them move it. Gulf Coast Getaways
Location was very good! Our family really enjoyed the "Sound side" ( swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, walking on the dock ,relaxing on the beach & decks) and a very short walk to the Gulf side, even our 4 year old granddaughter could walk it easily. The views were beautiful, we even saw dolphins several times from the decks & the beach. The property management was very easy to communicate with and very responsive. The bunk room was very nice but the top bunks need rails to be usable for most families and it would have more convenient if you didn't have to enter the one bedroom through the Master bath upstairs. Overall nice place to stay!!!

Great location, but house needs work.
This was a nice location on the sound, but walking in, all of the windows facing the water had shades down, and we quickly learned why. Most of the shades were broken and could not be raised. Also the windows were extremely dirty. The dining room table and chairs were quite old. When we pulled the kitchen table apart to pull out a leaf, surface below was full of grease, dirt, and unknown icky stuff. The upstairs bathroom is shared by all three bedrooms, and one of those bedroooms could only be accessed through the bathroom. In the entire bathroom, there was only one small garbage in the room with the toilet. Nothing near the sinks.
It had plenty of space for the 9 of us it was just disappointing that the dock is unusable and appears to have been for a while which wasn’t mentioned. It is really hard to share the upstairs bath when you can’t get into the bedroom without going thru the bath.
We were not happy with the upstairs arrangements. 3 bedrooms share 1 bathroom and you have to walk through the bathroom to get to 1 room. No TV in 2 rooms. Not enough utensils in the kitchen and hardly any bowls or pots and pans. The wine refrigerator leaked all over the downstairs bunk bed. We will not stay here again. Fun with my family.

This house has 5brs and 4bath rooms, the layout is different but with only 10 people there are lots of options for sleeping arrangements. If this guest had reached out to us with any of the issues she is mentioning we would of immediately brought in new kitchen supplies, pots&pans, etc. We have no mention by her of any leak, we have full time maintenance so if a leak or any other maintenance item comes up we take care of it in a timely fashion. I would concentrate on the several positive reviews for this house and disregard someone who was disgruntled for whatever reason. Gulf Coast Getaways
The property is fabulous and looks exactly as shown on the website. We had a downstairs plumbing issue with the shower which the management had fixed promptly and were very kind and easy to communicate with via text and phone. The sunsets were magnificent from the deck. The kitchen is well stocked. We would definitely rent again!
Enjoyed this place a lot ! Bay was a great place for the kids to play when the ocean was too rough. Very close to beach as well. Views were spectacular!!! Quiet neighborhood. Bunk beds were great for kids except there needed to be rails on top bunks. Needed a few more cooking utensils like frying pans and large baking sheets and oven mits and pot holders .
Also a better broom and dust pan and mop and vacuum would be nice. Big need for some mats to wipe feet we tracked in a lot of sand. Out door shower was great and loved the pier. Would definitely stay here again!!!
House has great potential and worked for our family this trip with plenty of room to allow for privacy but gathering in central areas. House needs the deck refinished...we did have an issue with ac and I have to commend the rental company for they had repairs done within an hour of reporting. Communication for check in, maintenance and check out was easy and excellent through text. Surprise was neighbors barking dogs.
Beautifully renovated beach house. perfect view of sunset over the sound. House is beautifully decorated w great outdoor space. Major drawback is second floor has 3 bedrooms, all of which share the master bathroom. Also no extra blankets, blowdryers or kitchen appliances ie electric skillet, blender, no broom. No rugs or floor mats in any rooms or bathroom. Not even trashcans in bathrooms. A few extra necessities would be all it takes to make it a perfect spot.

Thank you for the excellent review and very constructive recommendations. We will definitely take a look at that inventory of items and get several of those restocked back to where they should have been. The house should have several of those items and it typically gets re-stocked in the offseason/winter. We do appreciate the great feedback and this is exactly how we can make improvements when we receive great suggestions. Thanks again and we hope to have you back soon! Gulf Coast Getaways
