Colonial House 20km from the center of Barcelona

Beautiful colonial style house located in the Natural Park of Serralada de Marina, but only 20 km from the center of Barcelona. After all the day of sightseeing in the city, enjoy your real vacation in a quiet place surrounded by nature. The privileged situation of the house allows you to enjoy maximum tranquility while watching incredible sunsets lying in your hammock. My accommodation is good for couples, adventurers, families with children and / or pets.
What is really special is the situation. Being so close to Barcelona, allows you to make urban tourism throughout the day and relax afterwards in a house surrounded by nature, with all that that entails (you hear birds instead of trucks, or you can watch the sunset from the porch of the garden)
The house is as you see it in the photos. A cozy house without great luxuries but with all the necessary details to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. In addition to a small welcome, you have coffees and infusions at your disposal at no cost.

Gem outside of Barcelona

The property listing is accurate. It’s a no frills but perfectly adequate place to call home while visiting Barcelona and surround areas. Alexis, his partner and their dogs are great and very responsive and ready to help. Expect to walk from the Montcada train station about 1.5 miles to the house. A rental car or scooter is a plus but not necessarily needed.

Wunderschönes Haus inmitten der Natur und nah an Barcelona

Das Haus ist herrlich, mitten in der Natur und mit toller Terrasse zum Sonnenuntergang. Bis zum Bahnhof sind es knapp 3 km, die leider z.T. an einer Straße ohne Gehweg liegen. Mit Kindern etwas schwierig. Aber Alexis fährt einen auch gern zum Bahnhof und ein Taxi kostet nur 8 Euro. Dafür kann man direkt vom Haus wunderbar wandern gehen.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden. Das Haus war alt, aber sauber und hatte alles nötige, Bad, Küche usw. Es war etwas ausserhalb von Montcada, aber unser Gastwirt hat uns abgeholt, und ohne Gepäck lief es sich sehr angenehm bis zum Bahnhof. Bis Barcelona waren es nur 3 Stationen mit der Renfe. Einen schönen Urlaub haben wir verbracht, meine Freundin und ich

ANNONCE INEXACTE

C'est un appartement dans une maison. Le propriétaire habite juste en dessous. L'accès se fait en montée par une piste caillouteuse en très mauvais état sur 500m. Pas de parking, votre véhicule reste sur le chemin forestier étroit. Pas de jardin. Une cour devant et un balcon avec vue sur la cour du proprio, la ville et l'autoroute C33 que l'on entend en bruit de fond. Pas de chants d'oiseaux mais les aboiements des nombreux petits chiens du propriétaire. Seulement deux chambres et un petit salon avec un canapé pas du tout adapté pour dormir. Pas de lit gigogne comme indiqué. L'un de mes fils a dû dormir au sol sur un matelas de dépannage et l'autre comme il a pu sur le fameux canapé. Il n'y a que le strict minimum pour cuisiner. Pas de lave linge ni de fer à repasser. Beaucoup d'objets de récupération, non valable, dans l'appartement y compris l'électroménager (réfrigérateur, sèche cheveux, machine à dosette, grille-pain...) Le grille pain était inutilisable, vu son état. Le propriétaire m'a indiqué qu'il n'avait pas les moyens pour en acheter un neuf. La veille du départ nous avons vu une petite souris dans la cuisine. Le prix de la location est élevé pour ce que c'est. Dommage, l'architecture ancienne de la maison est très jolie.

Schönes Haus ein bisschen außerhalb der Stadt

Wer nicht den ganzen Tag Trubel haben will und mit einer einfachen Grundausstattung zufrieden ist, ist hier richtig aufgehoben. Ohne Auto muss man 2,5 km zu einem der Bahnhöfe nach Montcada laufen (nicht auf der Straße sondern am Fluss entlang und kurz hinter der großen Brücke über die Schutzmauer) oder Alexis fragen, ob er einen fährt (macht er in der Regel). Mit den Regionalbahnen ist man in 25 Minuten mitten im Zentrum von Barcelona. Wenn man mal nicht in die Stadt will, kann man wunderbar wandern. Die Zufahrt zum Haus gehört schon zu den zahlreichen Wanderwegen in der Umgebung.
