Our party of ten-- age range from 3 to 87-- fell in love with this exquisite house in Sag Harbor. We enjoyed every minute in this beautiful home. Our hosts were responsive to all of our questions and concerns and immediately addressed any issues that came up. There are so many wonderful spaces to luxuriate in and the nature that surrounded the property was so lovely, including the mature native trees and a glimpse of a red fox running off into the distance. Effortless luxury !

This home is exquisite. The design, the flow, the details helped make it a perfect getaway for our extended family. Ora and Jacob were responsive and warm. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking tools, the work out room was a huge bonus and the kids playhouse provided hours of entertainment. Highly highly recommend!

Amazing house!

We stayed at this summer rental in the Hamptons last week, and honestly, it was amazing. The house itself was gorgeous—super comfortable, beautifully decorated, and just had such a welcoming vibe. It felt like the perfect mix of luxury and homey.The pool was definitely a highlight—clean, peaceful, and surrounded by a really lovely outdoor setup. We spent so much time out there lounging, swimming, and just enjoying the sun. The whole place was set up for total relaxation, and the amenities were top-notch. The kitchen was fully stocked and many times you could find the whole family eating and cooking in the spacious kitchen.We had such a great time and wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Highly recommend!

A wonderful vacation home!

What a great home to relax and unwind! Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and used the pool and tennis / basketball court extensively! The pool table downstairs was also a big hit. I’ll admit we didn’t use the exercise room much but a great amenity for those so inclined. The outdoor space was very relaxing and private and we shared most meals outside. We made some trips further east and found our location very convenient. The house / bedrooms were all well maintained and comfortable. Overall a really great time!

Home Away from Home

The property was perfect for four working friends. We each had our own space in which to work and relax. When it came time to come together for meals and socializing, there was great space to prepare food, eat, talk, play music, play games, do puzzles, etc. The property owners were fantastic! Very responsive to our many questions. We had a wonderful time.

Unforgettable East End Vacation

Our family has vacationed on the East End for 30 years and this vacation tops the list. Jacob and Ora are wonderful hosts. When I notified them that the coffee maker wasn’t working they had a brand new one sent the next day. Their home is kept immaculate and beautifully furnished with thought provoking artwork and a library of intriguing books. I found Jacob’s book “Practical Multiscaling” fascinating. Their home is in a quiet setting and perfect for a family that wants to spend time together creating lifetime memories. Our family loved swimming with our two granddaughters and playing tennis. Great place. We will definitely return. The home has everything to enjoy a relaxing vacation and....... some competitive tennis. The owners were very accommodating. In fact, my wife accidentally left some clothes behind and they overnighted them to our home in Florida. Great place, great owners, great time!!

Awesome house with a great owner.

Thank you Jacob for your hospitality during our stay in your beautiful Sag Harbor home! Our family and kids had a lovely week at your house and fit all 10 of us perfectly! It was truly an excellent experience and I would recommend it highly. This place is spotless and bright; just as the pictures describe. We loved the design and open layout. All the decor was brand new and contemporary. The house is in a very quiet area and we mostly stayed in enjoying all the house had to offer. During the day we took advantage of the beautiful tennis courts and large pool. The is also a cabana and hot tub. The pool deck was huge and had great areas of shade as well as sun. We enjoyed grilling and there is an outdoor dining table which was perfect for lunch or dinner. They is a great den in the house where we enjoyed family movie and game nights. The owner would periodically check in with us to make sure everything was good and if there was anything he could do to make us feel more at home. There was a notebook in the house with suggestions on restaurants, grocery stores, and activities to do nearby which was very considerate and helpful.

Blissful stay - Exceptional house and location

My husband and I spent a week here at the start of the summer season with our kids and dogs, and had the greatest time. We recently relocated to the East Coast from LA, so our standards for a beach vacation were high, but this house and the area were perfect for us. Unlike many of the other houses we looked at, this one was bright, airy, spacious and had top notch appliances and beautiful furniture. The beds, sheets and towels were extra comfortable - the hosts clearly spared no expense, which we appreciated. The kitchen/bathroom were fully equipped, so we didn't have to pack anything extra and the toiletries were lovely (far better than what we expect from hotels). Our kids loved playing in the pool, which was a great size and big enough for me to swim laps and get a good workout. There are great running trails nearby and the local restaurants/shops and beach are all very accessible, and we made use of the bikes a great deal. Jacob (the owner) and his daughter Effie were both super accommodating to our various requests (mainly related to extra things we needed since we were travelling with children/pets), sent us all the information we needed before getting there and made our stay really easy and relaxing all around. My husband had to work for part of the time while we were there and it was great that the house had such good wifi and was spacious enough for him to be able to work while the rest of us played! Dream vacation on all fronts for all involved!

Thrilled! Fantastic house & hosts!

I have been spending my summers in the Hamptons for over a decade, so I've had my fair share of experiences renting houses out there and Effie's exceeded all expectations. The house itself is beautifully designed and decorated, has all the amenities we could ask for and was impeccable. The pool was clean and we had great fun using the tennis court and cycling around the area. There is so much nature at your fingertips here, so it was wonderful to be able to go to the beach, do some hiking, barbecue in the evenings and explore the local shops and restaurants. It really felt like a luxury home away from home. Effie was very easy to communicate with and responsive, answered the many questions I had before getting there and made sure to give us tips and check in regularly to make sure there were no hiccups along the way. This removed the hassle and worry I normally experience around renting houses and made our vacation that much more relaxing. This house is everything it promises to be (unlike the many others in that area which are a disappointment in real life!) and great value for money. Thank you to Effie and her family for allowing me and mine to use their home, and for making Summer 2016 so memorable (we are looking forward to coming back soon)!

Perfect house for a relaxing Hamptons getaway!

I booked this house for my birthday week and had an amazing time! The house is stunning and is equipped with anything and everything you might need. The owner was thoughtful, kind, and very attentive to us. The house floor plan is spacious, modern, open and great for entertaining. We had the best time grilling outside while enjoying the large pool and hot tub! The tennis court was in great shape and it was so nice having a gym in the house. We loved how quiet and tucked away the house was while still being close to the beach and downtown. I would recommend this house to anyone who is looking for Hamptons getaway. Our stay went by too fast but we've decided to make it a yearly tradition!

Wonderful house that exceeded our expectations.

We've rented in this area every summer for many years. This house has by far been the best. Not only was it large enough to accommodate 10 people, it was beautifully laid out and spacious enough that we never felt on top of one another. The house was very clean and we weren't scared to open anything we were allowed to afraid of what we might find, like in past houses. Aside from the house, the pool and tennis court were the best features. Both kids and adults truly enjoyed their time in the heated pool. We had a tennis instructor come to the house and even he was impressed with the Hartru tennis court. Owner, Efie, and her handy man were always a text or phone call away responsive and attentive to any inquiries or needs. Location is quiet and central to anywhere you may want to go, although a car is necessary. We would highly recommend this home as anyone's home away from home.
