Lush Garden Steps Away from Great Park

They say that this is the perfect time to discover the Eternal City. We say it’s the perfect place for a staycation! The air has never been so fresh nor the streets so bare. Our fully-sanitized apartments are equipped with high speed Wi-fi so you’ll have no trouble working from home. You can even order groceries and delicious meals to your doorstep with restaurants still delivering after curfew. Come and stay with us with complete peace of mind to make Rome your magical safe haven this winter.

The lush air of this verdant garden apartment creates a special atmosphere, comparable only to the large historical park it neighbours, Villa Pamphilj. On the ground floor of a distinguished family mansion, this apartment has a private access to the garden surrounding the house where it is possible to see the small parrots that live in Romes parks. The garden is also home to a small land turtle, which belongs to the apartment owners.

The two-room apartment boasts a spacious living room, which on occurrence can host two extra guests on the queen size sofa bed. The piano located in the generous day area is free to use for guests who desire to sweeten their stay with some music. For the culinary enthusiasts the kitchen provides all the necessary equipment for indulging in home-cooked meals.

Located in the Monteverde area, the apartment is very well connected by public transport for going to Trastevere, the Vatican City and the Imperial Forum. The neighbourhood is rich in restaurants, theatres and quaint shops selling antiques and artisan objects. The setting is that of a truly Roman neighbourhood on one of the hills of the Eternal city, where at a short walk you can reach the Gianicolo, one of the most extraordinary panoramic locations of Rome.

A Taste of Roman Living

We stayed here for two months and overall we were very happy with the apartment and its garden. It is within a beautiful Art Deco building, the neighbours were very friendly, and it was located in a quiet residential area but within easy reach of the city. The apartment is large, elegant and comfortable, minimally furnished, and built for Roman summers with its tall ceilings and marble surfaces. The Wifi was excellent which I needed for work while staying there. The property management company were excellent and immediately responded to emails and requests. Downsides were that some of the built-in cupboards smelt a bit musty, and the heating was not available in May as it is controlled by the local municipality. Highly recommend.

Rome Holiday

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the property. The bus was 3 minutes away and the train was 10 minutes away, making most sites about 30 minutes away. The place was quiet and the garden was nice. We took advantage of the kitchen and the washing machine. Some of the furniture was a bit worn or I would have given it 5 stars.
