We’d definitely return.
We’d definitely return. Hill View was a lovely cosy and well equipped cottage. Muddy walks a plenty on the doorstep as well as the Fox and Hounds to enjoy. We were lucky to spend Christmas there and really appreciated the extra effort to add Christmas decorations inside and out, a lovely thoughtful touch. Highly recommend staying here.

Hill View cottage is a little gem.
Hill View cottage is a little gem. It is a compact, but perfectly formed, cosy retreat which was an ideal base for a few days away from the current global madness!
The cottage was well equipped and had high quality finishing touches such as Denby crockery and knives, sumptuous bed linen and towels.
Thoroughly recommended for a calm getaway for two.
Whilst dogs are permitted, there was no evidence of any previous canine tenants. This was a relief as we have none!

Beautiful cottage in a quiet village. Local pub is very cosy. No other amenities in the village but there is a Spar shop nearby which has everything you could need. Jacuzzi spa bath is very relaxing. Log burner was great as we visited in December.

Stayed in this cottage from 1st June-3rd June 2019.
We really enjoyed our stay here & would definitely return.
It is only a tiny little village with not much around apart from a little pub opposite the cottage.
On the Saturday we got there we made full use of the spa bath which was a brilliant bonus.
It is only a 10/15 minute drive to flamingo land which we went to on the Sunday. And not a far drive from Scarborough.
The cottage is very clean & well looked after. The bed is soooo comfy!
100% would recommend.
Thank you for having us :)

Lovely, comfortable, well-equipped cottage in a pretty little village, with a good pub just over the road. The outside space was a real suntrap and was a peaceful place to sit and listen to the birdsong. We appreciated the "welcome pack" of bread and cheese, and also the large towels in the bathroom and the selection of books and DVDs. All-in-all a great place to spend a few days, with lots to see and do nearby.
