About the host
Your host
Hi, I'm Pat, and along with my husband, Thomas, we'd love to welcome you to The Bridge Suite for a memorable holiday to The Scottish Highlands. Like you, we have travelled here for many holidays since we fell in love with the place on our first trip many years ago and we felt compelled to return regularly. So much so, that after spending 20 years living in Devon, in the south west of England, we finally made the decision to move here to Invermoriston for a change of lifestyle. We absolutely love living here, and we're confident that you will understand why during your visit to this beautiful part of the UK.
Why they chose this property
We fully understand that you have a very extensive choice of holiday accommodation in The Highlands, which is why we make it our business to ensure that you have the very best experience when you stay at The Bridge Suite. Drawing on our own experiences of staying in a whole variety of hotels, B&B's and self-catering holiday accommodation in the past we have designed and equipped The Bridge Suite as somewhere we ourselves would love to spend quality time together.
We believe that it's the little extra touches make a great deal of difference, which is why we provide useful items for our guests like a hairdryer, iron & ironing board, extra blankets, plug socket converters, cookery books, free broadband wi-fi, magazines, DVD's, puzzle books and lots more to make staying here a real homely experience. It's also why we invested in a good quality pocket sprung, memory foam mattress, because there's nothing better than a good night's sleep when you're relaxing on holiday.
Before living here we visited The Highlands frequently as tourists ourselves and we hope that our many years experience of exploring both the regular tourist spots and many of the more remote, off-the-beaten-track parts of the local area can be useful to our guests. For those who could benefit from a little help to find their way around we love to enrich our guests' time here by sharing our invaluable local knowledge to help them to find the best places to visit, the best wildlife to observe, the most scenic locations, the most rewarding roads to drive, the best places to eat, shop and relax.
As hosts we live on-site, in the other part of the house, which means that we are usually on-hand to answer your questions, to give directions or simply to sit and chat. It also means that we can attend to any maintenance issues or other needs quickly and efficiently during your stay if required although such instances are rare as we thoroughly check and prepare the property before the arrival of every guest.
