We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Cloudcroft! The home was beautiful and had everything we needed. The hostess Kim was very kind and communication was great. We hope to return next year!
This is a lovely home in a beautiful location. My family and I had such a peaceful time sitting on the porch watching the hummingbirds and other birds at the feeders, looking out at the meadow behind the house. The forest was just on the other side of the meadow, so we were able to go on a long hike directly from the property. The house had everything we needed. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again as this is our favorite out of the five we’ve stayed at in Cloudcroft.

From the moment we walked in the door, we fell in love with the property and knew the long weekend was going to fly by. The property is beautiful, peaceful and was perfect for our group. An added bonus was being able to hit the trails on our side by sides from the property. Our host were unbelievably kind and quick to respond!

About the host
Hosted by John & Kim Weitz
The owners live in Texas and always wanted a mountain home as a future retirement spot. They built this house to one day enjoy summers in New Mexico & winters in Texas. They have 2 children, busy jobs, and active in the community. Blessed Pines is there new 2nd home and getaway until retirement.
Why they chose this property
The 7 acres on dry canyon was the perfect balance between secluded enough for my husband's desire to get away from the hustle & bustle, but close enough to the small town of Cloudcroft for some social interaction & activities when we retire one day.
