About the host
Hosted by Luca
From an Italian family and raised in France, I have just graduated by a top 10 UK university. I work in the IT and consulting industry and spend my nonprofessional time traveling in warm water locations seeking great waves to surf. I am very passionate about my family's heritage and enjoy managing and refurbishing the family's Sardinian Seafront villa that my grandfather built in the 1960's.
Why they chose this property
The house was built by my Italian grandfather on the Sant'Antioco hills after he crashed in Sant'Antioco with his car during a Rally race around Italy. Nestled on the gentle hills of the Sardinian countryside, facing the intense blue of the mediterranean sea, my grandfather built a house that his wife and future kids could fully live in the spring to autumn months.
What makes this property unique
My favorite place in Italy is this house, as it is my winter base for my extreme sports mischiefs. I love windsurfing, surfing, cliff jumping, spearfishing and climbing in the nearby creeks and bays. The house is perfect for the seasonal escape from the bustling city life and therapeutically reconnects one to the sedentary and tranquil life that we often today forget to live.
