The Red Cabin is perfect for a great getaway it is secluded with beautiful scenery and it has a fire pit for lots of fun and conversation. Firewood and skewers for roasting marshmallows, making s'mores and roasting hot dogs over the fire pit are included. More outside seating includes a picnic table also a three burner gas BBQ grill with the patio furniture and umbrella. BBQ utensils and seasonings are included. Inside this beautiful cabin is a southwestern theme for Decor. A loft with two twin beds that can be pushed together for a queen size bed. Nice kitchen with full-size appliances all dishes, pots and pans everything you need to cook a complete meal are furnished. Living room with vaulted ceiling, StreamingTV and wireless Internet provided. Roomy bathroom with all nice towels and full size Shampoo/conditioner/ body wash/ hairdryer. Two spacious bedrooms on the main floor with queen size beds. Lots of pillows and cover provided! Lots of books and information about area activities, hikes and float trips on the Buffalo National River. Also this property in only 45 minutes to Branson, MO and Eureka Springs, AR popular places to visit by other guests. It was great stay. A suggestion would be to install a handrail on the porch steps for older and handicapped people.

We loved our stay at the Little Red cabin! The cabin was decorated so cute, beds were comfy and the kitchen was well stocked. Jeep CASA event with friends

Cute, quaint cozy. Came down with friends for a fund raiser Jeep run. Cabin had everything we needed, even wood for the fire. Loved the note on the refrigerator informing us of their puppies (who like to visit guests) and they did! Sweet dogs. Great place to stay and get away. Thank you!

New Ozark Cabin with All the Amenities

We really loved the comfortable Red Cabin for its seclusion and scenery. We have rented over 15 properties across the country through VRBO over the years and this property offers more amenities than any of the others. Kathy, the owner, could not have been more hospitable and she has the grill, kitchen, and bathroom full on everything you would need for a great stay. We hiked in the area and south of Jasper. Located between Harrison and Jasper, the Red Cabin is close to Pruitt's Landing on the Buffalo River and convenient to grocery stores and restaurants while still being remote and very quiet. We loved it!

Dennis and Shirley were Awesome guests! I truly enjoyed visiting with them during their short stay at The Red Cabin. I am so grateful they chose us for their stay. They left the cabin so clean and in perfect condition... it really made my job easier getting ready for the next guests arriving at 4 pm the same day! I would recommend this lovely couple to any host on VRBO. I hope they get to come back soon and stay longer next time! Amazing Home Away From Home

I’ve been to a couple vacation rentals before and this one blew me away. The kitchen was fully stocked with appliances, dishes, soap, spices, utensils, and even complimentary s’mores ingredients. We were able to cook our own meals the entire time. The home was cozy and did not feel small with 6 people, nor did it feel staged and unwelcoming like a lot of rentals. The cabin is in a beautiful part of the Ozarks near the Buffalo River National Park and the part of the river at Pruitt just south of the cabin was amazing for fishing and swimming. We couldn’t do it all in one trip. We are definitely considering coming back. I have 2 notes for those planning a trip. 1: The tourist caves nearby the cabin are closed indefinitely. 2: The cabin is south of a notoriously racist town and vacationing in the area may be uncomfortable for people of color. It did make members of our group uncomfortable, however, we stayed away from that area and on the private property, it is very unlikely that anybody could reach you or harm you.

It’s was horrible

The address took us to the middle of nowhere. We got there and the owner never gave me the code to get the key so I have to call her and she didn’t answer at first. There was roaches and spiders crawling everywhere. The air conditioner didn’t work all weekend, we were literally sweating just sitting inside. On top of all that I think the place has bed bugs, me and my crew have bites and rashes all over us! Horrible place to stay. Wish I could get a refund!!!

This review does not reflect this property at ALL. These guests never notified me that the AC was not working. I have over 300- 5 Star Reviews on this property on Airbnb.com This property is only 4 years old and in great shape. There are NO bed bugs and I have never had bed bugs. The property is located on paved roads all the ways and is not hard to find. It is located in the woods and even though we do have it sprayed on a regular basis for bugs you will possibly see a spider, fly, mosquitoes. I have never seen a roach in this property. I feel as a host that they were just trying to get a refund for their stay. If I had been made aware of any of these concerns they would have been addressed immediately or they could have been moved to one of my other properties. Please disregard this review.

tough start to the stay

We received the wrong check in information from VRBO and went to the wrong house. Luckily I had the owners phone nu,ber and she led us to the right house, she said VRBO sent the wrong info to me, she had sent the right info but not until the day before we checked in and I had not received it yet. The house was nice and clean, the only other problem we had was barking dogs.

Gracious, thoughtful host in a beautiful setting. Excellent wifi. Lots of games if the weather's bad and you want some old school wholesome family fun! Kathy had a welcome breakfast tray in the fridge with all the fixins, everything you need for smores and a fire pit fire (including bug repellant). She brought fresh, warm brownies one night and even put corn out for the deer to draw them out for wildlife viewing. My 10 yo son summed up the stay well when he said, "Good times and great memories!" Bring a change of clothes, toothbrush & your smiling self cuz Kathy took care of the rest and its waiting for you at this cute, cozy red cabin!

Why they chose this property

The Red Cabin is Located half-way between Harrison, AR and Jasper, AR this property is very conveniently located for so many things to see and do in the Ozarks. It was part of the Dogpatch USA Theme Park that was popular from 1972-1992. The park is no longer open to the public but all the memories are still there! Johnny Morris with Bass Pro has recently bough the old park and is transforming it into something amazing! We are also only 45 minutes from Branson, MO and under 10 minutes to the Buffalo National River. Explore all that the Buffalo River Country has to offer such as hiking trails, exploring caves, float trips, majestic waterfalls and viewing wildlife of all kind including the Amazing Elk! You can just relax or do everything you have always wanted to do while seeing and visiting some of the most amazing sites in the country! What makes this property unique

This property is very peaceful and located in the woods. It is built on a large piece of property overlooking Scenic Hwy 7. It is secluded. The Cabin has open areas in the LR, Dining and Kitchen. Steep Stairs that lead to the upper loft area where two twin size beds are locate. Main Floor there is Bedroom #1 has a Queen Size Bed sleeps 2. Flat screen TV. Bedroom #2 has a Queen Size Bed and Flat Screen TV. The Bath has a large walk in shower, lots of fresh towels and wash clothes. This Cabin will sleep a total of 6 guests. Kid friendly and has lots of outdoor space to run and explore. The outside has a patio with a gas BBQ grill for cooking out. Front porch. Beautiful areas for photo ops.

You will have access to the entire house. Streaming TV, Free Wi-Fi, Netflix and Guests Apps. You also have access to an outside cooking and eating area. Plenty of parking. There will be helpful brochures in the house of local attractions, shopping and dining.

We have a beautiful and relaxing fire-pit located right in front of the cabin, We furnish the wood and the starter fluid. Surrounded with beautiful views, Stars, Nature and Flowers. Peaceful and Relaxing. We also supply fixing for Smores' Wildlife come right up to the cabin, deer, birds, squirrels and maybe wild turkeys!
