About this property

Situated in quiet, landscaped gardens yet only five minute walk to two beaches, Rosemary Cottage offers excellent accommodation for up to five people. The owners are constantly updating the property and further upgrades have taken place over this winter. The accommodation is arranged over two floors. The main door leads through a porch area (useful for the storage of outside clothing etc) into the large lounge/dining room. This room has a feature stone fireplace, a large LCD TV with Freeview and DVD, plus a games console (Wii) and iPod/Mp3 docking/music station as well as wifi access. There is a dining area with seating for 5. This room leads on to the fully fitted kitchen, equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge, microwave, washing machine, and drier.
On the first floor, there are three lovely bedrooms, a double, a twin and the last a single room. The bathroom is situated here and includes a bath with shower over, w.c. and basin.
From the rear garden there are pleasant views to the sea and there are two beaches immediately available only a 5 minute walk away. The rear garden is decked at several levels and provides a quiet spot to sit and enjoy the views and perhaps a barbecue. Parking is available for one car in a private car park 25 yards from the cottage.
Rosemary Cottage is a perfect base for a Cornish holiday close to the sea. The town of Looe can be reached in about twenty minutes via the coastal footpath or in five minutes by car. The property has been renovated with real flair retaining the best of the old whilst introducing modern touches and up to date amenities. Lovely cottage

Ideal cottage felt like home took a couple of days to work out best route to and from but like the rest of Cornwall little country lanes. Overall i would rebook and stay in same cottage again.

Lovely cottage in a very quiet location, with all the amenities that you would want...kitchen was very well stocked with lots of utensils and crockery /cutlery but was missing a pair of oven gloves (minor detail). The costal path walks were close by but quite strenuous to get up on to, but worth the effort. The little beach at Millendreath with it's beach bar is only a few minutes walk away and the Black Rock beach cafe has just reopened whilst we were there after being closed for some time. It may be worth mentioning in the advert for the cottage that the steps from the car parking space are quite steep, as are the decking steps to the upper decking in the rear garden, so not for the disabled?

Comfortable cottage with beaches very nearby

We all loved Rosemary Cottage, beds very comfortable, great terrace for sunbathing, good WiFi signal so kids happy! Would happily stay again and recommend to friends and family.
