Picture Perfect

A truly beautiful home set in open countryside offering the perfect base from which to explore the region. This house itself has everything you could want for a vacation and the level of finish and attention to detail make for a relaxing and comfortable stay. A short 10 minute walk across the nature reserve brings you to a small village with a pub bistro as well as a well stocked supermarket. Bruges itself is only a short drive or bike ride away.

Exceptional holiday home getaway

Amazing property, the entire family loved our stay here! The house is beautifully located outside the city center in a tranquil nature reserve area, perfect for walks. A short walk away is a bus stop convenient for going into Bruges city center. We also enjoyed the nearby brasserie and a grocery store. Debby was an incredible host, giving us a tour and ensuring we had everything we needed. Great communication. The property exceeded our expectations, it was comfortable and beautifully decorated. A fully stocked kitchen meant we could prepare some nice meals, and we enjoyed the wood stove for extra coziness. Enough space for all six people who stayed, and large main rooms for family socializing and playing games.

A brilliant house in the perfect location

We had a fantastic few days in the house. When we arrived, we received a warm welcome and a thorough tour around the property. The owners were very friendly and were able to talk to us in English, which was much appreciated! The house itself is as much as anyone could wish for. It is warm, well appointed and we felt instantly at home. The house is a short drive from the local town, in which, you could find all of the essentials for a short stay. We spent a few days touring the coast and small towns in the area and spent our evenings curled up in the comfort of the various living spaces. Our kids particularly enjoyed having their own bathroom and private space. I thoroughly recommend the house as a place to escape to.

Fantastic house, fantastic hosts, fantastic stay

Both the house and the hosts hold all their promises. The house ist perfectly situated right outside of Bruges (5-7 mins by car). It is furnished and equipped with high quality materials, instantly creating an excellent atmosphere. Kitchen, living room and bathrooms are spaciously cut and in an up to date condition. Moreover, the house provides for several well equipped hang out areas both inside and outside. The large yard allows for outside activities on the premises. The fact that Debby and Fre are easy going and sympathatic hosts rounds the experience. They communicate reliably and smoothly. A great experience all around!

Great place to chill and relax

We had a very nice week in this beautiful place close to Brugge. This place reflect what you see in pictures in a very quiet area near Brugge. We brought our bikes (8) and put them in the big garage that Debby and husband have. the only disadvantage is that there is a lot of mosquitoes; therefore I recommend to use mosquitos spray. This is perhaps because in the near of the house, there is couple of horse barns. The house is in a very quite area, so if yo want to go for dinner, it is better to take the car... but this is also in the description. There is a lot of places to enjoy by bike if yo take your bike with you. We even went to the beach because we were lucky with the weather! In general the house was very comfortable for us, 8 people. Thanks Debby & husband for the nice hospitality.

Prima locatie en op zeer korte afstand van Brugge. Voor 15-20 heb je een taxi. En als je een fiets hebt ben je er helemaal snel. Er is een bbq maar zelf zelf wel voor de kolen. Huisje is echt top!

Excellent séjour en famille dans cette belle maison spacieuse et très bien équipée. Ce qui était appréciable étant donné un temps de mars qui ne nous permettait pas de profiter de belles balades dans la nature environnante. A quelques kms de Bruges et de la côte, c'est néanmoins une location à conseiller.

Belgien im Herbst

Nach dem langen, warmen Sommer war das Haus auf einen Kälteeinbruch nicht vorbereitet und alle Heizkörper auf "Frostschutz" - es war also erst einmal einen Tag lang recht kühl im Haus. Gut ein Viertel der Glühbirnen war leider kaputt. Alles war sauber, aber am Fußboden fanden sich viele lange Haare und nicht alle Geschirrteile waren sauber gespült. In den Beschreibungen war einiges ein bisschen ungenau, z. B. fehlten Adressen von Supermärkten/Restaurants. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet, die Umgebung ländlich, ruhig und sehr schön.

Prachtig huis op mooie plek

Heerlijk luxe huis met veel ruimte op een top locatie dicht bij het strand en Brugge. De stilte is erg fijn en de ruimte maakt het huis zeer geschikt voor meer mensen. De eigenaren zijn zeer vriendelijk.

Le logement génial. Dommage quil n'ait pas fait plus beau et chaud. La ville de Bruges est superbe.A part notre hôtesse qui a ete adorable,nous avons trouvé les Belges peu sympathiques ,aussi bien dans les restos, les chauffeurs de bus.les vendeuses dans les magasins😒😒ils ne valent pas les gens du nord.On ressent une antipathie vis a vis des Français.

Wundervolles Feriendomizil

Wir wollten als Familie Family-time genießen und gleichzeitig die Möglichkeit haben, verschiedenste Dinge in der Umgebung gemeinsam zu entdecken. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und wunderschön eingerichtet. Genügend Zimmer als Rückzugsorte und einen sehr gemütlichen gemeinsamen Bereich im Erdgeschoss mit Kaminofen, Sitzgruppe, Essbereich und offener Küche. Ruhig und mitten im Grünen - Pferde, Schafe waren fast die einzigen Nachbarn. Es war auch der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für Entdeckungstouren in der Umgebung! Wundervolle Spaziergänge über Feld, Wald und Wiese, Besuch von Brügge und Gent, Ausflüge an die Küste….. Es gibt unendlich viele schöne Dinge zu entdecken. Ein traumhaftes Stückchen Erde, das wir nur empfehlen können!

Super - sehr empfehlenswert

Das Haus war besser als im Internet beschrieben. Es war super. Es war ideal für sehr viele Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Die Lage im Naturschutzgebiet ist wunderschön. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett und großzügig. Ich kann es sehr weiterempfehlen!!
