Natural Park, Faial Island Casa da Guia - Perla Studio AL/1084

Perla Studio is located in the Natural Park of Faial´s Monte Guia region. An area rich in flora, fauna and unique geological features. Only a short walk up from Perla Studio are cliffs of eroded coastlines that make up the Baía das Caldeirinhas. A sanctuary for observing many species of birds and sea-life. Directly from this area are walking trails that make up the Circuits of Monte de Guia for amazing views of Porto Pim Bay, Horta City, Pico Isand and Sao Jorge Island.
From Perla Studio, is a lovely Blue Flag status sandy beach that has stunningly beautiful blue calm waters that is wonderful to visit anytime of the year.
Even though Perla Studio is set in an area of peace and tranquility, many places of interest and city conveniences are only a few minutes walk away. At the base of Mount da Guia is the whale station, Fábrica da Baleia, the sea centre, Centro do Mar and a restaurant with terrace overlooking the beach.
And further down the street is where the Marina is located along with the dive shops, whale watchers, tour guide offices, rent a car offices, quaint cafe´s, good restaurants and the famous Peter´s Cafe.

Great location overlooking Horta Bay and beyond. A good walk to Pim Beach . Cafes and restaurant in town . Would stay again. Interesting listening to Shearwater birds at night.

Best view on the island

The stay at Casa da Guia was beautiful. How wonderful it is to wake up every day and see the sun rise from your bed. The view couldn't be better. The host was very responsive and took care of any concerns and questions right away. It was also nice to be a little bit away from the main part of town with complete serenity and peace. Will definitely return!

Emplacement magnifique

Il s'agit d'un très petit studio idéalement situé: 15 minutes à pied de Horta, de la plage, du point de vue magnifique Monte Guia. En 30 minutes à pied, on rejoind le traversier qui relie Pico et une épicerie Continente. Bref, si vous aimez la marche, cet endroit vous permet de rester sur place sans voiture. Pour visiter le reste de l'île, elle devient toutefois indispensable.Le studio offre une vue extraordinaire sur l'océan, la ville de Horta, le volcan Pico et son île, ainsi que sur les îles plus éloignées. Se lever le matin avec cette vue, est incroyable! Et que dire d'un appéro ou d'un repas sur le balcon devant cette vue. L'emplacement et la vue sont les 2 gros atouts de ce studio.En ce qui concerne l'équipement, nous savions qu'il était limité, tel que décrit dans l'annonce. Il y a peu de place sur le comptoir de la cuisine, cela rend plus difficile les longs séjours si on ne veut pas toujours être dans les restaurants. Pour ceux qui ne veulent pas manger sur place, cela ne pose pas de problème, il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour prendre un petit déjeuner.Le studio est très petit, il y a donc peu de place pour laisser les valises. Toutefois, si vous avez des carry-on, cela devrait être correct.La communication avec l'hôte et la personne qui nous a accueilli a toujours été correcte Le seul bémol pour nous a été la propreté des lieux. Le ménage a été fait, mais il pourrait être approfondi pour rendre le lieu encore plus magique.

Logement propre avec une vue splendide face à la mer , en compagnie du mont Pico, possibilité de ne pas prendre la voiture pour aller au port. Petit plus une machine à laver le linge. kitchenette composée d'un évier, d'un frigo, d'un micro onde d'un grille pain , cafetière et bouilloire. Nous avons passé un bon séjour au calme. Propriétaire sympathique, ponctuel, je recommande ce logement.

Un logement très agréable bien qu'un peu petit pour deux. Mais idéalement placé face à la mer et à Horta. On a même eu la chance d'apercevoir une baleine ainsi que des dauphins. Enfin, les puffins sont toujours présents matin et soir, quel plaisir de les entendre Un grand merci à Zelda qui est très accueillante et s'est toujours inquiétée de nos besoins pendant le séjour. Une suggestion : il manque un petit fauteuil pour se reposer

A beautiful escape for two on the mountain overlooking Horta. Private, romantic, perfect!

I miss the morning view we had over breakfast on the terrace. I couldn't get enough of it. The apartment is small, but ideal for a couple looking to explore the island by day. Our agent, Zelda, was so kind and welcoming. Good water pressure in the shower and a comfortable bed. Good air conditioner, too!
