Pyg Pen Cottage - Quiet Rural Cottage

This property is nestled in the lovely quiet village of Rock.

It has 3 bedrooms, 2 Kingsize and one with en-suite and a twin room.
Downstairs is a front lounge with a extra lounge/diner/kitchen open plan area at the back which leads on to the enclosed garden and patio area. Ideal for dogs as the garden is secure. It also has a separate utility room and downstairs toilet.

The cottage has private parking to the front. It has Wi-fi access and all the amenities for a relaxing stay in the gorgeous county of Northumberland. It's location is ideal, being close to the beautiful coastline and also only 15 minutes from Alnwick.

Bed linen and towels are provided. There is a washer/dryer, induction hob, double oven, microwave, 2 flat screen televisions and a wood burning stove for cosy winter nights.

Free welcome pack on arrival - full of local essentials.

Suitable for children with a high chair, baby gate, bathroom step and travel cot available for use.

This is such a great property to stay in. This was our 5th visit to Pyg Pen, it’s immaculately clean, you have everything you need and in a beautiful part of the world. We stayed with friends this time and the house worked brilliantly, just a great place to be and Kirsty is so helpful.

Beautiful cottage in the perfect location for exploring Northumbria. Rooms were great and a lovely garden with 2 seating areas. Couldn't have asked for more. Local pub in Reddington was also good for food

We really enjoyed our stay at pyg pen cottage. The cottage is beautiful and has everything you need,with a beautiful garden which was great for our grandchildren and dog.Its in a great location for days out exploring the local area,I would highly recommend this property and will definitely be back

The Pyg Pen is a very comfortable home from home. Our only problem was finding the front door when we arrived( our sat nav took us to the rear of the property) but Kirstie was on call to help us. It’s very well equipped and a perfect base for trips to Alnwick, Bamburgh, Craigside and other local attractions.

Gorgeous cottage in a small village. Very close to all places we wanted to visit. Good supply of everything needed for a holiday. Lovely pub food in the horseshoes in next village. Used the large garden with perfect lawn to sit out and have lunch. Good instructions in handbook about the cottage. Nice welcome basket. Definitely stay Again

Really enjoyed our stay here. Easy parking for two cars outside the house. Lovely clean and comfortable house with a nice garden. Close to wonderful beaches. Washing machine came in handy after 10 days of travelling. Definitely would recommend.

We stayed at the Pyg Pen to celebrate our anniversary and take our puppy on his first doggy holiday! We were so impressed when we entered the property. It was so clean, inviting and beautiful! The host was extremely helpful and communicative, replying fast to messages with any queries. Although, not entirely necessary, as there was a very thoughtful information folder about the cottage and the area for us to use upon arrival which made our stay so much easier. We would absolutely recommend this stay to anyone wanting to visit the Alnwick area, and are looking forward to when we can book again! Thank you so much!

Lovely cottage, well equipped and comfortable

Had a lovely stay here over New Year, enjoyed stargazing from the hot tub and relaxing pub lunches in some of our favourite Northumberland locations. Very well appointed cottage in a great location for exploring, we'll be back!
