Book a last minute weekend away to Bicester village or for one of the local festivals now. Or come for a week and benefit from a discount, and use the house as a very convenient central base
Sleeps up to 10.
Only 90 minutes from Heathrow on the M40.
10 minutes from Banbury Bus and Railway stations.
This is a spacious, modern, 4 bedroom, detached house in a very quiet part of Banbury. In the beautiful large conservatory you may like to eat your meals, while appreciating nature as look out through the expanse of glass, to see the squirrels scrambling over the trees.
Banbury Cross is just 5 minutes away. Within a couple of minutes the other way you are in the glorious countryside. Broughton Castle, a medieval fortified manor house with moat, situated in a vast meadowland is only 5 minutes away. Also, convenient for Banbury Railway and Bus stations which are easily walkable or a short taxi ride away.
Easily and comfortably accommodates up to 10, with a king size bed in an ensuite master bedroom and 2 beds in each of the 3 other double sized bedrooms. Two folding single beds are available to be placed in the living room area to enable a total of 10 to be accommodated.
Space for parking 3 cars - 2 in the driveway (left side against the house as right side is owned by my neighbour) and 1 in the adjacent hard standing, stone area. Vans and trucks are not permitted on the property.
Note that due to it being a very narrow private road, no street parking is allowed, although it is possible to park additional cars and commercial vehicles, free of charge, just a few minutes walk away.
Conveniently located, 10 minutes to the M40, 30 minutes to Stratford on Avon and Shakespeare country, 30 minutes to Oxford and the University walks etc, 90 minutes to London and all the amazing sites.
The house is only a few years old, so benefits from modern construction methods, well insulated, is accessible via wide doors and no steps through the front door.
The Space
This is an extremely well appointed, spacious and comfortable house with all the amenities you could wish for.
The house, due to its excellent central England location and comfort, is ideal for weary business travellers, and, due to its proximity to Banbury town centre, is perfect for people attending wedding receptions.
There are many festivals within very short driving distances from the house too (listed later on), so those festival goers who prefer not to camp are more than welcome.
It is also well set up for people with young children who want to visit some of the many local attractions. For those folks we have a baby high chair, baby bath, stair gate and fold up crib to save you having to lug all that stuff around. And for the older kids many board games.
You can dine in the kitchen, the dining room or the conservatory as the mood suits you. You can watch smart TV via the extra large screen with and a Bluray/DVD player in the sitting room, or from one of the flat screens in each of the bedrooms. We also provide a range of DVDs and Blurays (many for kids) you to select from.
The kitchen is well equipped with modern appliances and a stylish table and chairs. We provide tea, coffee, & cereal, and also on your first night there will be fresh milk and bread. In the cupboards you will find olive oil, salt, pepper etc. and anything left from previous guests. There is a large capacity washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and large gas hob and double oven to enable you to enjoy this home from home.
Outside you will find a barbecue on a very clean patio. There are 2 tables, 10 chairs and an additional 4 deckchairs, kept in the conservatory to help you enjoy the outdoors.
Guest Access
Full run of house apart from office and a couple of cupboards marked Private
Interaction with Guests
Mostly, I will be there to welcome guests and thereafter, contactable by phone, text and email, but there will not be anyone at the property. Also, you will find a file containing details of wifi, bins, how to operate the appliances and useful local information on where to eat and shop and suggestions on where you might like to visit.
For repeat guests key safe access is possible.

I am a customer focussed IT professional, having worked in multinationals for many years at Board level, before setting up a Consultancy. I am also a family guy with partner and 5 kids, most of them grown up now - and 4 grandsons and 2 grand daughters. Of most relevance is my understanding of what it takes to provide high quality services to discerning clients.
Why they chose this property
This property is so well located really in the heart of England. Easy access to London and the north via the M40 and rail and bus stations and easy to get to Birmingham, the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) and Heathrow airports.
It is only 10 years old and so benefits from modern construction techniques and insulation. Also, accessible through a wide front door from a gently sloping path with no steps. Internal doors all wide also.
