Great property, great hosts and friendly customer service. Hot tub, local knowledge and being able to use the two kayaks on the estuary were some of the hi-lights.

Everything about the house was great. Plenty of room especially downstairs and garden had comfortable seating areas. Views of the Gannel were special and we had a lovely week enjoying the beach and waves at Fistral.

Lovely property in a fabulous location. Mark and Kim were excellent hosts and I had very easy communication with them. We had a wonderful holiday and made good use of the hot tub and kayaks. Short walk to the Gannel Estuary which is a superb place to sunbathe, dog walk and kayak. Would definitely stay here again

Thank you for such a lovely review Gail, we are delighted that you enjoyed your stay and that you managed to see some Cornish sun. We must thank you for leaving the house so amazingly clean and tidy, we hope to see you at The Santorini again.
The Santorini was a fabulous house in a great location. Very clean and modern . Mark and Kim were wonderful hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful decor with really comfortable beds. Plenty of towels along with everything else that was needed for our stay. As there was 6 of us plus two dogs the garden was perfect for the pooches and the hot tub was just what was required late at night. Just a short walk to Fistral or Newquay around 10 mins or so .
Would definitely stay here again

Thank you for your lovely review Andrew, and thanks for leaving the house so sparkly clean. We are so pleased you had a great week and do hope to see you again at The Santorini.
This is a lovely property in a great location for easy walking to Newquay. The outdoor area at the rear is excellent, and the hot tub is a real bonus. We also made use of one of the kayaks on the Gannel. The conservatory is a great place to sit and relax, and the kitchen is very well equipped, should you decide to cook, which we did on 3 of our nights. Lovely, helpful owners. We all said we couldn’t fault anything, and would certainly recommend a stay here.

Brilliant house, very clean and great location.
The garden made it, we spent most of our nights out there as we were very lucky with the weather most days.
Would happily book here again :)

Thank you so much for your lovely review, we are delighted you got to see some Cornish sunshine during your stay. We do hope to see you again soon.
The accommodation was certainly not disappointing when I arrived. The cottage was clean, spacious and welcoming. The location also meant shops, beaches and restaurants were easily accessible. The cottage provided us with two kayaks, which proved to be very useful when we went to the local Gannel. The area also had opportunities where we could go surfing and horse riding. An overall great cottage for a holiday in Newquay.

Thank you so much for your lovely review Richard, of course we had pre-ordered amazing weather for you, LOL. We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you at The Santorini again.
We rented this property for a family holiday with two dogs and had a lovely relaxing stay. The home is as beautiful as it is in the pictures and our hosts Kim and Mark were very welcoming hosts and communciation with them either by email or phone always brought swift helpful replies, they couldn't do enough. Unfortunately we didn't get to meet them due to covid! The nice surprises on arrival like the scones and clotted cream and dog treats were a big hit but also the basics like milk, bread and butter were great too!
The home is very comfortable with separate living areas which we found great for our multi-generational family. However we seemed to spend most of our time in the conservatory enjoying the beautiful views over the Ganel. Unfortunately we didn't really get to enjoy the garden enough due to the poor weather but a bbq on a hot day would have been a good experience as its a great outdoor entertaining space with lots of seating for everyone. We definitely made use of the hot tub and it was one of our main reasons for booking this home. There were good walks for our dogs and the secure garden with a hosepipe was great for washing them off when we returned. Kitchen was well equipped with all we needed including cleaning supplies and the beds were very comfy. We would definitely stay here again in the future!
Thanks Kim and Mark.

Thank you for your lovely comments Rachael, we are delighted that you enjoyed your stay. Hopefully when you join us next time the sun will shine! We look forward to welcoming you back soon.
Great communication and reassurance especially throughout Covid uncertainty. On arrival the house was spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, every kitchen utensil you could imagine. While the property is on a large residential estate, it was quiet, peaceful and hardly overlooked. The short cut walk down to the river was so useful for kayaking and dog walking. Mark and Kim have put a lot of thought and effort into the design and preparation of the property. A lovely 3 generation holiday was had ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is easily the nicest house I’ve ever stayed in. The little touches to the property make it feel like a home away from home.
They have everything in that you could really need, and the hot tub was great!
Fistral beach and Newquay are both walkable, and it’s just such a great part of the country to holiday in when you can’t get abroad. Would highly recommend.
Mark & Kim were very friendly & welcoming. The house was beautiful & immaculately clean with fantastic views of the estuary. Very relaxing outside area with great seating & a perfect hot tub. The house has everything you need & we would definitely stay again. All communication from Mark & Kim was perfect, thank you.

Ania and friends were great guests to host, it was a pleasure to arrive at our home on the day of departure to see it had been well looked after.
We would not hesitate to accomodate Ania and friends in the future.
We’ve just returned from a lovely family holiday here. The house was perfect for us and had everything we could need - including the hot tub which we used every day. We appreciated the flower and the welcome pack too.
The house is great from a location perspective - close to Fistral beach and to the Gannel for walking our dog.
Kim and Mark were on hand to answer questions we had. We would definitely recommend this property.

Rachael and family were a pleasure to host and we very much hope they return in the not too distant future.
Communication was excellent, all house rules were followed and the house was left clean and very tidy.
We had a fabulous week in Mark & Kim’s beautiful home. Set in a quiet area close to Fistral Beach with views over the estuary, it has been well equipped with everything you would need and has many personal touches that make it special. There were basic groceries waiting for us on our arrival and even fresh flowers on the dining table. Even though we had a problem with the hot tub, Mark was very quick to sort it out. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

It was a pleaasure to host Lisa and family. Communication was excellent throughout their stay and our home was spotless on departure. Lisa and family followed all our home rules and we would not hesitate to to welcome them again.
Excellent location tucked away in a quiet residential cul-de-sac within walking distance of the Gannel Estuary for kayaking and Fistral Beach for body boarding. The property was spacious and well kitted out. The hot tub was a big hit and the many relaxation 'zones' (decking area with a lovely view, out door seating, sun room, large kitchen table, comfortable lounge) meant that there was plenty of choice for a large family with big teens to all get their space or all be together .

Alice and family were excellent guests and were a pleassure to host.
Our home was left spotless and all house rules were followed. We very much hope to meet Alice and family again in the future.
This property was of a very high standard. It worked well for the three generations of family that came on the trip. The welcome package was a lovely touch. It was spotless and had everything we needed. The hot tub was a great incentive to walk faster on the way home from the beach! Location wise, a short walk to Fistral beach and into town.
The owners were very kind, quick to respond to communication and nothing was too much trouble.
I would recommend this property and will definitely stay here again.
After a long journey we arrived to an immaculate Home , with a much appreciated welcome pack (which really was very generous). The owners Mark and Kim are very helpful, the Hot Tub is just amazing. The beach at Fistral is about 15 minutes walk away and the estuary is just a few minutes away -The Dogs loved the beach and the younger guest in the family all went horse riding. The house has everything you need for a family stay and everything is to a very high standard. It was lovely to Barbecue over looking the estuary and we had dinner 3 nights at the Lewinnick Lodge which has the most amazing views.
Thank you Mark and Kim we all had a fabulous holiday and would love to return.
