Hudd's road (access to Yurara) is a gravel road (please see current photo) and is regularly maintained by the Douglas Shire Council.
Hudd's Rd currently requires an AWD or 4WD.

Yurara originally attracted us because of its absolutely amazing views right out across the breathtaking rainforest valley to the Coral Sea. Our superb decks, and Luxury Spa Bath for Two, provide charming vantage points where you can enjoy the outstanding Views.
We offer you a place to relax and take a break, away from the crowds but not totally cut off, we do have free Wi-fi and a Smart TV for those who want to stay in touch with the outside world.

Beautiful haven

Stunning views, peaceful, comfortable and very well appointed. Friendly host, would highly recommend. The only downside is the steepness of the access road.

Forest Retreat

Our stay at Yurara was just what we needed. The view is amazing and the bed is the most comfortable I have ever stayed in. We had everything we needed and it made for a very comfortable stay. The rainforest is amazing and the house made for the perfect retreat while visiting the Daintree.

Fabulous stay

Absolutely loved our stay here . The house had everything we needed and we made ourselves at home . That view and the bathtub 😍. Great location for the Daintree and Cape Trib . Communication before and during our stay with Dean was second to none . Thanks very much for a wonderful stay .

Wonderful, tree, light and bird song filled relaxed break. Beautiful designed and stylish boutique home built in the rain forest. A bird/nature watchers dream!

Can ABSOLUTELY recommend this AMAZING property we didn’t want to leave! Views from forest to the distant coast all seen from various places on the deck. Beautiful bath on the outside deck. Very close rainforest tours and other activities. Buy some groceries on the way and soak up Mother Nature Thanks Dean

Absolutely lovely surrounding and totally private. Beautiful home away from home. LOVED the bath on the balcony. The hammock on the balcony was also a wonderful spot to relax. Loved the fact that at any time of day you could sit anywhere around the house to enjoy the cool breeze - always with beautiful views. Our hosts were very nice and made sure we were looked after.
