This historic character Cottage is fantastically located right in the New Forest with ponies, cattle and pigs running along the road outside the gate and miles of open forest across the road, it is absolutely idyllic. The Cottage sleeps 12 in 5 double bedrooms and benefits from a private, dog proof garden, ample parking for 5 or more cars, Electric Vehicle ChargePoint (7kw type 2), fibre broadband, 3 shower/bathrooms (2 ensuite), 2 wood burners, central heating and a ground floor cloakroom. The coast and numerous beaches are only 30 minutes away, as are Southampton and Bournemouth for shopping or airports. Up to 3 dogs are very welcome at the cottage, with no extra charge (please ask if you have more).

The Cottage is in a really quiet, special location but accessible to so much whether you seek culture, beaches, theme parks or just want to relax, walk and sit in front of the fire, it’s perfect. We provide very comfortable beds and luxury bed linen and towels because I think these things are so important. Lots of people comment on how well they sleep at Rose Cottage.

What makes this property unique

Beautiful views from all the bedrooms. Paddocks on one side and the forest on the other. The Cottage feels very relaxed and homely.
