NEIGHBOURHOOD
The apartment is situated on the west side of Nice, in the Magnan Quartier. The beach is just a couple of minutes away, as are mini super markets, small restaurants, boulangeries, and pizzerias all around.
This is a great area if you are seeking a beach holiday, but wish to head into the city every so often. Frequent bus services run during the day and taxis all night to take you into the hub of the shopping areas and the buzzing nightlife of the Old Town! It takes just 5-10 minute by taxi to the Old Town and Port areas.
There are also ‘Velo Blue’ (public bicycles) available along the Promenade, which you can rent for a lovely ride along the seaside to the Cours Saleya market to buy fresh flowers and produce. Alternatively, an easy 20-minute walk will bring you downtown and in less than 10 minutes to the famous Negresco Hotel.
BUILDING
The holiday rental apartment is located on the fourth floor of a secure building with double-gates. The building itself was designed by the famous French architect Dikansky in the Art Nouveau style. The entry hall still bares the charming original post-boxes. The building overlooks the famous Promenade des Anglais, the inspiration for many artists along the years.
A lift will take you to the 4th floor.
The balcony is private to your property, and has an awning that can be rolled out, should you wish for shade. The awning is electric powered.
LIVING AREA
There is a large flat-screen television with several channels, magazines and a portable speaker set. WiFi is included. Find relaxation on the comfortable 3-seater settee, or the soft armchair, a coffee table. An AC unit keeps the room nice and cool during the summer.
With smart interior design features, the space flows effortlessly and calmly. It is decorated in shades of beige and blue with subtle lighting.
The living space extends to the balcony, where you can enjoy endless apéritifs whilst gazing at the sun set over the sparkling Mediterranean. There are electric shutters to the front balcony that can be lowered at night for total security.
KITCHEN
The simply white kitchen finds itself nestled between the living room and the bedroom area. It is perfectly equipped with all the kitchen essentials.
Find a 2-ring ceramic hob, microwave (a dual convection oven/microwave), a sandwich maker also, dishwasher, washer/dryer combo, and full-sized fridge with integrated freezer, Nespresso coffee machine
BEDROOMS
The main bedroom has a king size bed (160cm), double wardrobe, two bedside tables with small reading lamps. It benefits from a lwindow from which you can see the streets of Nice. Roll out of bed and wander out to the balcony and enjoy one of the beautiful sunrises Nice has to offer.
The second bedroom is adjacent to the first one and enjoys a double sized bed (150cm).
Both bedrooms enjoy remote control electric shutters as well as AC.
BATHROOMS
The bathroom is a smart, stucco-tiled room with shower, and sink. It has a rustic-style basin.
There is a separate WC.

-- Beach towels are available in the holiday rental property, but must be left clean, ready for the next guest. Otherwise, a supplement of 15€ per beach towel will be charged via credit card upon departure.
--Baby equipment available at an additional rate. This is organised with an outside company who sanitise all their baby equipment. Please inquire if required.
Security Deposit & Rules
-- Security Deposit: 500€ blocked by Credit Card on arrival, charged only when damage occurs
-- No Smoking, inside property. Smoking outside is permitted if there is a terrace or balcony available.

-- Please note that the following charges apply for late check-in, payable in cash upon arrival: - 19:00 to 22:00: EUR 20 - 22:00 to 00:00: EUR 40 - Check-in after midnight is subject to approval and costs EUR 60. Guests arriving at the property via the free airport pick-up service do not have to pay late check-in charges at the apartment, but a EUR 10 extra charge still applies for arrivals after 19:00. Please note that an additional EUR 50 charge applies to all arrivals on 24, 25 and 31 December, 1 January, Easter Sunday and 14 July. An additional 58€ will be applied for all bookings that require sofa bed linen (4 guests or more).
