A group of nine friends we really enjoyed our long weekend stay. We did three walks directly from the property. The shared spaces in the dinning area and lounge were perfect for our size of group.
Whitehouse Farm Barn was a wonderful place for our three families to meet, the space was great with lots of facilities. The location of the barn is really good with easy access to Bakewell and Ashbourne. Would highly recommend!

Superb, well equipped, spacious & clean accommodation which is good value for money.
Superb, well equipped, spacious & clean accommodation which is good value for money. Lovely touch leaving welcome goods & much appreciated. Lovely location for long and short walks though unfortunately the route in to Hartington is along the main road though worth the walk for the delicious Sunday lunch at Devonshire Arms in the village. Would have been good to have some local information and routes available to read in accommodation or suggestions/ discoveries that other guests have found. We had a fabulous stay and would thoroughly recommend it.

booked this barn for my 40th birthday it catered for all 14 of us very comfortable and had everything we needed
The only down side to it was the barn was adjacent to the owners home which wasn’t stated on the website and you could only use the hot tub till 22.30
We were asked to keep the noise down because there home being next door so we had to sit in doors on a lovely evening

A great place but perhaps a little remote for us when faced with the winter like weather.
A great place but perhaps a little remote for us when faced with the winter like weather. the walk to the pub was not pleasant in howling wind, rain and hail. Not a fault of the property but meant we enjoyed our weekend less than had the weather been less extreme. The snow was fun too! At least we got in the hot tub but not as much as we would have liked on account of the weather. Owner was lovely and even loaned us extra torches for our walk. Beds comfy and kitchen and house well equipped. An excellent place for a break.
