Set in 2 acres of landscaped and natural gardens, these two single-storey holiday properties have been converted to a very good standard and retain many original features. Offering identical accommodation, they lie just 1 mile from the elegant traditional seaside town of Filey with its annual fishing festival , and over 5 miles of white sandy beaches sheltered by the rugged grandeur of Filey Brigg. Scarborough, 6 miles, also has beaches, theatres, shops and museums, and there is easy access to the North Yorkshire Moors National Parks, as well as many historic abbeys, castles and market towns to visit. Shops and pub 1 mile.

Wold View cottage is like a home-from-home, with all the home comforts and facilities you would expect. It is well laid-out and was clean and cosy. The owners were welcoming and quick to respond to any issues we raised. Enjoyed a lovely family break, the cottage was quite roomy and comfortable (party of 4 adults and a dog) having two bathrooms was really useful and parking for two cars made live easier. The enclosed patio was great both for our dog and us to sit out on a sunny evening. The location is ideal for visiting the coast as only a short journey to Filey and Scarborough. Fantastic cottage - the photos online do not do it justice. It had everything we needed and more and we had a superb welcome from the owners. The self contained garden was a sun trap & perfect for the dog, who also had the shade she needed. Will definitely be back again.

Brilliant cottage and location.

Brilliant cottage and location. Perfect for a few days to get away, we got to all nearby seaside resorts (Filey, Scarborough, Bridlington) which are just a short drive away. Cottage was clean and had everything you need for comfort and practicality. The hosts were more than accommodating too and had some advice on good dog walks in the area. We will definitely be back.

A beautiful cottage, peaceful and relaxing. Everything that was needed was there. Comfortable furniture and beds and the added bonus of an enclosed garden for our dogs. We really didnt want to go home. Will definately be booking again

Great property and very clean and tidy

We found it noisy compared to home. Outside light on garage drove us mad it flickered all night. We found it very distracting. Same as one on the owners house But property was comfortable and clean and well equipped We got a complementry bottle of red wine and milk in fridge that was a nice touch. But it would have been better if the owner had poped round to check that we were ok
