A sought after destination, making an ideal touring base, with nearby mainline railway station and good bus service. Only minutes to Alnwick, with its majestic castle and cobbled streets, nearby Warkworth and Newton-by-the-Sea, and Bamburgh, further up the coast, with its lovely beaches and castles. A really lovely conversion with everything you could need to make it feel like home from home. Ideally located for a couple of minutes walk into the beautiful village and also for exploring the local area by car. It is about a five minute walk down to the beach where you can walk for miles.We will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

Beds very uncomfortable, no DVD’s player as advertised and owner did not reply about it when I texted him but these are just two minor gripes, Alnmouth is a very special place in a beautiful part of the country and the cottage is very well positioned to enjoy everything with easy access , it is very well equipped and tastefully decorated.

We really liked Little Woodlands cottage.

We really liked Little Woodlands cottage.It was very comfortable in the relaxing lounge /kitchen. There is a 6 foot bed in the bedroom which was great, and plenty of storage. We could have been overlooked at the back if the owners had been sitting in their conservatory as it is quite near the patio. Luckily they did not use it whilst we were there. We would have liked a couple of storage jars and some foil and bags in the kitchen. Also some cleaning stuff under the sink for us to use, would have been useful. We cleared up quite a few woodlice off the floors downstairs. Overall we had a lovely stay at Little Woodlands .

Alnmouth is a perfect base for us with several dog friendly bars and cafes and a wonderful beach.

Alnmouth is a perfect base for us with several dog friendly bars and cafes and a wonderful beach. It is within easy reach of Warkworth, Amble, Bamburgh, Seahouses, Craster, Beadnell and Lindisfarne. The accommodation was spacious, comfortable with everything to hand and a secure garden to relax in especially if you have dogs.

We really enjoyed our holiday at Alnmouth one of our favourite places by the sea. However I have scored low on cleanliness because although it appeared to be clean I felt that I thorough clean of the floors and suite in particular were needed. Sorry to be picky.

We loved our week at Little Woodlands.

We loved our week at Little Woodlands. The accommodation is clean, modern and comfortable. Local walks are from the doorstep, the beach is five minutes walk away. Everything is pristine - no litter or graffiti anywhere. We would be more than happy to return to this area and venue, and have no hesitation in recommending Little Woodlands.
