We had a great late summer stay at West Hurscott Cottage recently.

We had a great late summer stay at West Hurscott Cottage recently. It was the ideal base for us to explore North Devon. The cottage itself is very well appointed, with good sized rooms and lots of original features. It also has the most fabulous conservatory/sun room and amazing views. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking a complete break from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Lovely week away

Photos of property do not do it justice. Beautiful cottage in lovely, quiet and rural setting. Had everything you could need. No Internet and patchy mobile signal meant we could truly escape and relax.

What an amazing cottage.

What an amazing cottage. Full of character and everything you need supplied. Cream tea on arrival and James was very welcoming. Thoroughly recommend if you love getting away from everything with all the comforts. No wifi but that wasn't a bad thing.

This cottage is a delight.

This cottage is a delight. It is very comfortable and surprisingly large compared to many small cottages. The kitchen was well equipped however unfortunately the dishwasher had broken just before we arrived and of course the owner had not time to get it fixed. The shower was amazing. The location is lovely and tranquil with beautiful views and a nice garden. It is easy access to Barnstable and up to Exmoor or over to Cornwall. We were really sad to leave this lovely holiday cottage.
