Lovely cottage sofa could have been a little more comfortable but still OK.
Lovely cottage sofa could have been a little more comfortable but still OK. There was no kitchen spray cleaner for cleaning kitchen benches but this may have just been an oversight.

Nice cottage, beautiful location in Sewerby park.
Nice cottage, beautiful location in Sewerby park. Comfortable, clean, just about everything you need provided! But there's no cupboard/ drawer space to put your own bits n things kitchenwise. The single bedroom badly needs a set of drawers....it's an electric fire in the lounge so noisy it drowns out the TV! And the lounge it's really quite small. Wifi does work keep trying. Being at the entrance it's a bit disconcerting to hear people outside the bedroom late at night and during the night!! Despite all that It is nice, potential to be nicer if all the bushes shrubs etc, which are close to the windows were managed better to allow more light, greenery makes it gloomy inside, light needed to be on a lot. Because of that not for us, also quite concerned about park at night, as there is no security on.

Beech Cottage is comfortable, well equipped & cosy.
Beech Cottage is comfortable, well equipped & cosy. Everything you may need is provided & the setting in the beautiful grounds of Sewerby Hall overlooking Bridlington Bay make it an ideal location. In addition having facilities such as the Clock Tower tearoom on hand make it even more convenient. Sewerby village is small with one pub & a hairdressers, but other amenities aren't too far away & there is beautiful countryside around the area. We will look forward to visiting again.

This was not our first at Beech cottage.
This was not our first at Beech cottage. We have never been dissatisfied with the lodge and it's contents and warmth is never a problem for February/March. We will be visiting again. Thank you to the staff.
