A great get away.
A great get away. Lovely views and cottage very cosy. Dogs loved the space and exploring the garden.
No mobile phone signal so great to escape life.
We loved the cottage, my husband would've happily stayed forever.
The cottage has been given a bit of a face lift since the photos on the online booking website so we were pleasantly surprised.

We have stayed in lots of holiday cottages but this one excelled and we have already booked again for next year. It is roomy, comfortable, nicely furnished and extremely well equipped ... there is everything you could possibly need. The oil heating is very cosy and coal etc is also provided free if you like an open fire. The situation is perfect for walking with an abundance of footpaths on your doorstep including all of the three peaks. The surroundings are truly beautiful and it is peaceful and private but also close to local pubs with great food and Ingleton village nearby. Very dog friendly with a safe enclosed garden. Only slight quibble was that the grass in the dog paddock was very long so we couldn't use it.. otherwise perfection.

Excellent location only a few hundred yards from the main paths to Whernside, Ingleborough and a net
Excellent location only a few hundred yards from the main paths to Whernside, Ingleborough and a network of shorter easier walks. Lovely views all around, especially from the front windows and garden which offer a beautiful and classic Dales view down the valley and of the limestone features on Ingleborough. The garden was lovely; just the right balance between looked after and wild. Well fenced for our two active dogs, with lots of trees and bushes adding to the wire fence and stone wall barriers, and a half height barrier on the gate too. There was a small field attached, although the dogs needed more supervision in there. A short run in the car to Ingleton, which has lots of nice shops, take-aways and eateries, which were easier to access with social distancing during the week. The cottage was well equipped. We took our own pillows and duvets due to Covid, although they are of course provided. We had a lovely time.

A lovely cottage in an ideal location, walks from the door, a great pub 5 mins away.
A lovely cottage in an ideal location, walks from the door, a great pub 5 mins away. ..With the most comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and fantastic views. Dog friendly is a bonus. We had the best walking holiday knowing that a great cottage was there to go back to, and a very good meal at the Hill Inn. If you don't like solitude it's not for you but if you love the countryside it is in the very best location. Diane was at the end of the phone if needed, but we had no need to contact her as there were definitely no problems. All in all well recommended.
