Lovely flat and good location

The living room was nice and spacious. It was a lovely flat in a great location close to the main part of Keswick.

Nice little apartment with private parking tucked away behind George Fisher’s. Comfortable seating along with comfortable bed. Kitchen very small but adequate. Kitchen sink a bit murky. Bathroom equally very small but good spacious shower. Very slow draining water in bathroom sink which was a pain. A few little niggles with the property but the wonderful South facing little, private patio with seating made up for these! Would stay again! 😃

Lovely modern,clean apartment with good home entertainment and modern appliances especially the washer drier which was very useful. Ideally located for a short stroll into the town centre and the Lake with an added bonus of it's own parking space on the doorstep. The only downside was the shower wasn't very powerful. Also the radiators didn't get very hot even with the the thermostat turned up, maybe because they needed bleeding to clear air locks. All in all had a great stay. Absolutely excellent in every way. If I had to nit pick, it would be the lack of ventilation in the bedroom. It'd be nice to have some kind of cage around the bedroom window (outside), since it is below ground level and if opened would allow unwanted nighttime visitors to come in. Have stayed in 1 Windsor House several times. It's location is excellent and the parking space a real bonus. The only downside is the bathroom, which is looking a bit tired, but overall it's a fabulous place to stay in Keswick.

We have stayed at this property for a number of years.

We have stayed at this property for a number of years. It is in a great location with parking and is well decorated and clean. New facilities such as the surround sound system is good. There is though a fundamental problem with the heating system and the electric shower. Both of these are inadequate and need to be fixed so that the basic requirements are satisfactory. We will probably visit again, but there should be some reliable reaction from Cumbrian Cottages rather than half fixing a problem and then leaving.

Tidy, ultra-conveniently situated, modern feeling basement flat. Quite well equipped and comfortable. Despite being a basement flat it didn't feel either particularly dark nor was it cramped. Almost in the centre of the town yet we were never disturbed by noise. Having a parking space was appreciated.

Flat was nice had free wifi.

Flat was nice had free wifi. It also had great resources such as laminated pages from a hiking guide great for taking with as a hard copy map. Only issue was no phone signal for Vodafone in the flat but could just go outside.
