Great cottage for our large family. Everything we needed to cook our Christmas Dinner. Close to town so great for the kiddies. Could have been cleaner but no worse than others we've been to. Would definitely recommend and will be returning here. Thank you
This was a nice property to house us four adults and 4 teenagers. It is a 10/15 min walk to central Keswick. Kitchen was well equipped and good number of bath rooms. Rooms were clean and bedding nice. The sanitary wear is a little dated but functional.

Decor is a bit dated but Ok.
Decor is a bit dated but Ok.Facilities in the kitchen, dining&living room are excellent.Tv's do not work in two of the bedrooms and as for the plumbing,it can be very noisey at times and the whole house vibrates (can wake the whole household if visiting the loo at night). After saying that the overall accomodation is fine for our need,we use it mainly for a base to crash, its near the town centre and its many hostelries

This is a spacious house with all the necessary items for a comfortable stay. It’s ideally located ie 5 minutes from Keswick town so walking eating and drinking on your doorstep. The only negative is the cleanliness was not up to scratch during these Covid times.

Location couldn't be better, as you're within a 5 minute walk of the lovely Keswick town, but also great accessibility to skiddaw and all the walks around the town too!
Parking on the street worked well as there's always a spot near enough and the house has everything you need :)

We really enjoyed our stay at York House.
We really enjoyed our stay at York House. It worked well for 3 generations of family and was so convenient for the Convention. Towels would have been nice even just one in the toilet. Hard to keep carpets clean especially in dining room with a one year old! No hot water in showers was quickly sorted once we reported it. Thank you for a great week.

We have enjoyed York House for 3 years on the run.
We have enjoyed York House for 3 years on the run. The facilities are excellent except for the state of the cooker which is usually not as clean as it should be. Unfortunately we will not be returning as the price has got too high( even with 7 of us in the house) and we have found a similar property £300 cheaper for the same week next year.
