Wonderfully situated just 3 miles from the little village of Gunwalloe and the unspoilt sandy beach at Church Cove, these converted traditional stone barns offer spacious and very comfortable holiday accommodation, perfect for that relaxing break. Each bedroom is equipped with its own TV, and both properties have shared use of the heated indoor swimming pool. Use of the pool is shared between these two properties only, making it a little more exclusive than the shared pools one might usually find. Glorious cliff-top walks lead to Mullion or further west to Porthleven and Loe bar where Cornwall’s largest freshwater lake attracts abundant bird life, especially wildfowl using it as a winter haven. Walkers can enjoy a 5 mile circuit round the lake and numerous footpaths thread their way through the surrounding National Trust farmland and woodland. The thriving town of Helston’s shops, art galleries, cafés, bars and restaurants are about 3 miles away as are Gweek Seal Sanctuary and the award winning Flambards theme park, with its thrilling rides and Victorian Village and Britain in the Blitz exhibitions. Goonhilly Earth Station, the Lizard Point Lighthouse, Kynance Cove and the National Trust’s Godolphin House, St Michael’s Mount and Trengwainton Gardens are all within easy reach.
