Sally and Henry were very welcoming, anything we needed they were there straight away to help. The cottage was lovely and very comfortable with a beautiful garden and views. I gave a 9 for equipment, there were 4 of us and had to split the food in to 2 saucepans as there wasn't one big enough (which wasn't a big deal) but apart from that it was perfect everything I wanted for my holiday. Lots of lovely local walks from the cottage, the local pub has very nice food and good Sunday roast. Plenty of pretty villages a short drive away. Would definitely go back again. We had an absolutely fantastic week in this exquisitely located cottage in the heart of the Cotswolds. We were disinclined to go anywhere else such was the draw of the garden and surrounding countryside. What a lovely quiet place to stay and relax. Everything you need after a day out exploring the Cotswolds. Would definitely recommend The Old Pool House to anyone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle of normal life.

Lovely quiet country location but still near plenty of Cotswolds highlights.

Lovely quiet country location but still near plenty of Cotswolds highlights. Although you are within the owners garden the old pool house and it’s lovely garden are so well screened there is no loss of privacy. We enjoyed relaxing with the wonderful views from the terrace and garden, and great walks through nearby wildflower meadows. Very welcoming and charming hosts who were there if needed but otherwise ‘invisible’. Our week went far too quickly and would love to return.
