The Smithy was a lovely getaway from it all cottage but was also not far from the very historical Canterbury and the seaside of Hythe, Dymchurch etc. We enjoyed the property very much, it was immaculately clean and beautifully situated in a hamlet on the North Downs. A very comfortable cottage which is "away from it all".
A very comfortable cottage which is "away from it all". The countryside is lovely. The narrow lanes can be tricky if you meet a tractor. The local pub is not open every day and there is no shop, that I could find, nearby. The area is extremely interesting historically, with Dover, Hythe and Canterbury within easy reach.
