Lovely clean and comfortable cottage, beautifully situated near Whinlatter forest. Quiet location but conveniently near enough to Keswick. The host, Gabby, was attentive and made sure our stay was welcoming with personal touches. We will book again.

This is a lovely cottage in a wonderful rural location right beside the wonderful whinlatter forest.
This is a lovely cottage in a wonderful rural location right beside the wonderful whinlatter forest. Its the perfect central position for easy access to Keswick and Cockermouth and all the lakes as well as the coast. There isnparking eight outside, The kitchen is very well equipped with quality appliances and has pretty views. the sitting room is comfortable with lovely mountain views. The double bedrooms are very good and the bathroom is spacious with a shower over the bath. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this character cottage and can highly recommend
Great location, close enough to Keswick but in a peaceful, quiet location. The cottage itself has everything you could need and there are great walks and cycles on and off road straight from the front door!
Bottle of bubbles to greet us was a lovely surprise.
Well-cared for property with all that we needed. Nice to be welcomed with a letter from our hosts and a bottle of prosecco! The river running by the old sawmill sent me to sleep at night, and the peace of the area was great, while the closeness of Keswick meant you were easily able to get stores or find eating places.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fairholme Cottage.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fairholme Cottage. The location is very quiet with lots of wildlife (a very friendly pheasant) and the beautiful red squirrels. The cottage is much more spacious than the photographs reflect and it is very well equipped. The decor is lovely and the cottage clean. Can't wait to return.
